Es gab also keinen Zwang im Restaurant zu essen - Abendessen im Restaurant sehr lecker - ausreichend großes Frühstücksbuffet - sowohl geteilte Zimmer (eben ein Hostel) als auch einzelne Zimmer

Great location on the Southern part of Iceland and opens up the area for extended trip into southern region. Food was lovely, clean. Really enjoyed the hot tub and meeting others

The service upon arrival was really warming. The whole camp exceeded my expectations as I found out clothes and boot dryers were provided as standard after having an extremely wet day hiking in the rain! The room was cozy, shower was nice and warm, and the communal areas are modern, cozy, and had a plethora of family games to be played. Great place to stay!

Bed was slightly firm (personal preference), and the walls were quite thin

Best hostel facilities ever, neat and functional, quiet dormitory doors, excelent privacy curtains in dormitories, plenty of clean bathrooms and toilets, well equipped nice little guest kitchen, hoe driers, professional drier for wet hiking cloths, nice Bar and Restaurant on premisses, we've enjoyed a live performance on the first evening, supermarket 5 minutes walk... (They have family rooms too)

Midgard was one of the primary highlights of our visit to Iceland! All the staff was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. The sauna and hottub were an awesome perk to enjoy at the end of the day. The boot warming and laundry was a lifesaver after a wet day out. The on site restaurant made some of the best food we had in Iceland, and we loved hanging out in the lounging area in the evenings to play their board games. We ended up coming back to stay another night and booked one of their amazing tours up Thorsmork, which was an unforgettable experience. Rooms were clean and simple and all had fantastic views of the area. The shared bathrooms and spaces were also well maintained. Having the option to add breakfast to the stay was also nice.

There's nothing that Midgard can do about the other guests, but both nights there were some louder guests we could hear well past 10pm each night walking the upstairs, in the hottub, and in their rooms. Some were not as considerate about talking volume and closing doors in the later hours.

La déco est très sympa, accueillante, avec de la musique agréable Le personnel est souriant & agréable, & les lits sont très confortables ! Avec une certaine intimité même si la chambre est partagée Je recommande sans hésiter

-Great views of the countryside from Room 5 (end unit with large windows on two sides). -Access to a community W/D (you need to buy tokens). Although the dryer limits you to 35 minutes, we didn’t need to pay for another cycle because we just hung up the clothes on the hangers provided and everything was nice and dry the next morning. -Separate reading lights were convenient. -The shower had a shelf for toiletries (not all of our accommodations on the Ring Road did).

The room was hot. They do provide a fan and suggest that you open the window, but only one window opened and just a crack. I guess this was the downside of having so many windows—greenhouse effect! It would be great in colder weather.

Easy check in. Big clean room with ensuite bathroom. Simply decorated but had a fan which I liked.

The guest self catering kitchen was very cramped and had limited seating.

this guesthouse is so well organised! there is everything you need when you are in holidays. (even the clothes driers!) the little sauna/jacuzzi terrace is super cute, with a nice view on the country side. and it closes late! Very good value for money We got great touristic advice from the reception.

The self catering kitchen is only possible to use one at at time. The most expensive room we have stayed in in Iceland.

Maybe having another room with double bed bunks for couples would be a nice addition to the experience.

The location, the design of the place and the staff were incredible! Clean, with spacious rooms, great amenities and magnificent location! A must stay!

Everything was great!

the beds were amazing, you get your own space, it’s designed very well! it has a lounge area with games downstairs, nice kitchen, a bar. and very important: a sauna en hottub which were very cool.

the fire alarm went off, and there was no staff (22:30h), because of my training on my work I told my friends to go downstairs asap. after a while the staff arrived and luckily it was false alarm. in case of a real fire: the preparations should be more clear!

Amazing and wonderful stuff, stunning place, with huge hang out place. The hot top and sauna were just the top of our stay.
