Very clean, close to everything, and felt Very safe with all the security offered for the facility, everything was locked down, you had to have a special key to enter into the parking garage, building, elevators, pool, etc....loved that... very nice pool

The biggest turn off is we were assured we could check in anytime and that there was staff 24/7 , because of our long drive we arrived at 1am, NO staff anywhere...called number given multiple times, no answer, emailed, no answer... still haven't got a response from that actually ... luckily ran into someone who lived there and happened to have one of the coworkers #s and called them, they were home asleep and came in just to check us in because they forgot to schedule someone that night ... 1am in a city we don't know with 2 small kids, waiting almost 45 min for someone to show up was not a good experience. Besides that, the flooring in the room had multiple areas that weren't put together, the pictures were not at all what we got...we were told a king and 2 twin beds... it was a king and a full size that our kids had to share so that was disappointing...only 1 dishtab for the dishwasher for a whole week with no other dish soap, king bed was very hard. Just not what I was expecting

The unit was clean and parking was provided (though we never needed or used it). The location was great; it's within walking distance to everything, which is exactly what I was looking for, including the mall, the grocery store, plenty of restaurants, and the metro. Very convenient.

The unit we were given was NOT the one in the photos. It took a while to get in touch with anyone from customer service and, when I finally did, they said that a previous visitor decided to extend their stay and they had to give us a different unit. I don't believe that's how it works anywhere. The unit we received was comparable but clearly smaller. Unlike the unit I had originally booked, one of the bedrooms did not have two beds. This was one of the main reasons I had booked it! As a consolation, they said that they'd have someone deliver an air mattress. It took three days to deliver and in the meantime my sister slept on the couch! I was told that I would be given a partial refund. I have been trying to resolve this issue and get my refund for the past EIGHT WEEKS. The messages I've sent to the property have almost entirely been ignored. I've been on the phone with Booking.com 6-7 times to help mediate this process and I've lodged a complaint against The National. After all that, when they finally responded, their refund was only for a single night (of a 10-night stay). What an insult. What an unfair, indifferent, and rude way to deal with a legitimate customer service issue that THEY caused and were responsible for in the first place. Do yourselves (and me) and favor and do not give these people your money or your support. Disgraceful.

nice location, close to stores and food. it’s near metro station, not far from the national mall. the apt. is clean and comfortable bed.

need hand towels in the kitchen for drying the plates. need extra toilet paper and paper towels. otherwise everything is good.

Centrally located. Building was up to date and parking garage was a blessing.

I wish communication with Pentagon staff was easier. I tried to contact them several times prior to the stay to revise my booking to no avail. Would of really preferred a higher up room or at least something with better ventilation. I thought the room would have a balcony like some photos showed.

Very relaxing atmosphere. My over all experience here was welcoming and nice location was convenient to everything I needed.

Apartment was smaller than expected, they don’t have parking passes available for more than one car per visit, garbage disposal didn’t work, no extra trash bags in the room or broom and mop, couldn’t locate the dumpster to take my trash out.

I loved that the property was smack dab in the midst of so many stores and food places! Everything had to be opened with my key fob and that helped so random people wouldn’t be in my apartment. The pentagon mall was across the street and on our upper balcony I could see the Pentagon in the distance !

Only thing I can think of… please get a hot tub :) but to be honest; all was perfect !
