very spacious for two people . Bags of hot water . TV not that it was used . Nice outside areas . parking . Rye town had lots of eating places and bars - some stupidly pricey though !

Was a 15 min comfortable walk into rye . However the weather was great , would have to get taxi if it had been raining .

Dated (junk shop items were quirky but not antique). Tired decor. No extract above the cooker. This was a major issue as the whole accommodation smelled of cooking and our clothes did and the bedding on the bed did. We had the windows open throughout our visit but could not freshen up the accommodation. Even un-worn clothing had to be washed on our return to home. Too far away from Rye town (not an issue for us but the less able could struggle to walk this distance up hill)

Bathroom could’ve been al lot cleaner our feet were black walking on the floor. Apart from that everything else was good.

Good standard of accommodation overall.

A previous reviewer mentioned the very soft bed, and I found the same. The mattress is shot and and needs replacing. There was some black mould/scale around the bath overflow vent.

This is in well need of update ! Photos are out of date on website and not clean ! Despite telling owners it was dirty they only did shower curtain ! Since found out it has been sold on to other people ! (Hair long black found all over bathroom tiles all slimey ) I had to clean before we could use it !

Nice and quite, close to Rye. The cottage had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay and was very spacious. The hosts were very helpful with regards to recommendations for eating out during the Covid restrictions.

Clean and comfortable. In a quiet location, within walking distance of the the town.

No shower gel.

The property was spotless and there was secure Covid protection in place. The cottage was very comfortable with an enormous and very comfortable bed. It was in an ideal position to explore the surrounding ares. The equipment was very good and everything had been thought of to make our stay as good as possible. The heating was easy to use and made the place very cosy. We would definitely go again.
