Breakfast was excellent. The service staff is attentive, courteous and friendly. The hotel had a restaurant, which saved me from taking care of the problem of lunch and dinner. Most importantly, everything was amazingly delicious. They have an amazing chef and wait staff. The restaurant had pleasant music and a beautiful interior.
On the first day, no one answered my messages, I was late getting to the hotel, due to a bus problem, and no one contacted me. I arrived tired and found the room dusty. I spent the whole night cleaning the hotel room because I'm allergic and couldn't sleep in the dust.
There was also a safe in the room, but it didn't have a lock. All days I had documents in my bag, which was a big inconvenience for me.

Location was in the city centre. We were in room 305, quiet and away from the street and had a view of the castle from our balcony. Comfortable beds. Both toilet and bidet.
Breakfast was buffet and had wide range of options and was included in price. Both lunch and dinner available in the hotel restaurant, good quality and reasonable prices.
Free underground secure parking onsite.
Wi-Fi good.
Staff were attentive when you found one-felt like understaffing was the issue.

Hotel in good location with a good level of comfort. Staff very nice at the reception and at the restaurant.
Other guests in the corridor of the bedrooms were making too much noise, talking at very early hours. Better doors isolating from noise or eventually signs advising guest to keep quiet in the corridors woul be advisable.

the room we were given was carpeted and had a very strong smell of dust. As my daughter is allergic to dust, I asked for a change of room and fortunately we were given another room without carpeting (the only one in hotel...)

Location was very cool. Staff was friendly and informative. The gentleman that checked us in made certain we knew about local events and things to see. Wonderful view out of our cute sun room. Loved the touches of time period accurate reproduction pieces throughout.
I know this is a very old building in a very historic setting. However, the building needs work. Holes in bathroom wall, etc. I certainly hope that now that travel is increasing, there will be funds to make this a show piece.
