Lovely suite of rooms with two en-suites and a shared lounge.
Be aware that there are a lot of stairs up to the suite.

I had visited this place with my family including our little dog. Mike and Carrie were so warm and hospitable right from the moment we entered the property. They made us feel at home and really took care of us. The food was amazing and the kitchens were absolutely clean. The location of the property is at such a picturesque place and it is right by the river. The view is just spectacular and the property looks like a little castle right out of our story books. Highly recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit North Wales. Will definitely come back again and see you soon Mike and Carrie :)
Top tip: Try the 'Mike's Mum marmalade' which would be a part of the breakfast spread.

The owners were very personable and we enjoyed chatting with them at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast...it was fabulous! We really enjoyed playing with Lola, the dog and Boyd, the cat. We felt we could move around the property like it was our home. We had the attic rooms and enjoyed all the extra space.

Customer service was excellent and our rooms were perfect. The coffee on arrival and breakfast the next morning exceeded expectations. We would stay again if we were in the area.

This is a beautiful property, our apartment was clean, tidy and well laid out. It had absolutely everything we needed. The hosts are amazing, they are very friendly and really can’t do enough for you, they have thought of everything you might need and have ear plugs, eye masks and sun cream available for your use (no charge), there are also books, board games, toys etc available for guests to borrow. The breakfast options for the free breakfast were really good and plenty of variety but if you prefer a full English, I can highly recommend it, it was absolutely amazing and at such a small charge was worth every penny.

This hotel is a local hidden gem in Snowdonia, I would fully recommend visiting when in the local area. Mike and Carrie are superb hosts, fully accommodating and their journey is amazing. The Gorge down the river is truly magical and worth the walk. Rooms are spacious and having a full suite is even better with all new facilities. looking forward to the summer and seeing the progress on the rear of the building. fully deserved rating and will be visiting again.

How welcoming Mike & Carrie were, making sure we had all we wanted. The rooms were fantastic & we appreciated the thoughtful goodies left in the suite. The breakfast was very tasty and catered for me as GF vegetarian.
That we had to leave again ;) we will definitely return.

it’s in a good location and the rooms was very clean and tidy. There was coffe and tea in the rome, some fruit, chocolate and even gummy bears. Amazing host, very friendy. Breakfast was super nice and tasty.

"Exceptional Breakfast included" as advertised was Not included unfortunately, it does state in the small print after further investigation but it's not clear when booking, there was Toast and cereals included.

we loved the slightly secluded position of this property with beautiful mountain views. feels like your almost in the middle of no where yet it’s only a short 5 min or so drive to Betws-y-Coed. All 3 of the north Wales zip worlds are close by too, 10 mins to the nearest and 30 mins to the furthest.
At first glance when arriving at this property it looked a little run down but don’t let that put you off. Renovation of this property is ongoing with no mess or disturbance to guests. Clean, cosy and homely.

The family suite we stayed in was perfect, 1 double bed with ensuite, a twin room for our 2 kids, a separate family bathroom, and a lounge to chill out in.
All rooms have been recently refurbished at a high standard.
The views from the room were breathtaking.
The honesty bar and breakfast were amazing and very reasonable.
The couple who own and run the hotel were very friendly.

Warm , warmth and comfortable ! is newly done up and owner is still working on other wings. The host Carrier and Mike are very pleasant, friendly and so is Lola the dog. The Manor itself has very wonderful history and the host are very passionate on their home. They design, build and do up the interior of the building mostly by themselves. A lovely place and I look forward to seeing the progress in a year or 2 ? Both cold and hot breakfast are excellent. We were allowed to use the kitchen as well.
A bit noisy is upstairs is used by another occupants. otherwise is very quiet. A bit far off from the eating places. The bed is a bit soft for us.
