it was near to the centre which was great and lots of space for 2 family’s

When we arrived we didn’t have the code to retrieve the key needed but managed to get this sorted pretty quickly, when going in the house it looked like some beds had been slept in which is worrying also the front room door was very dangerous as only had one screw in and nearly fell on a child but managed to sort and fix, there was also a fall bag of rubbish in the kitchen.

The property was clean and tidy

Lovely house, great size for our two families. All 9 of us fitted and was comfy. Very clean, great information from hosts. Perfect location for our 2days at Alton towers.

Good location,large rooms,easy parking when spaces available,local shops at hand

Facilities very basic. Only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet to service whole house that could have max occupancy of 9 is far from ideal. really should have a 2nd toilet as minimum. Pictures of rooms are very deceiving, appearance is shown as a more luxurious decor than the reality, layout of house is very odd with 1 bedroom downstairs, bathroom is downstairs off the kitchen. Very steep stairs to first floor. Plug sockets and radiators are located in wrong areas, some radiators not working. Uneven flooring in most rooms, some have dips in floorboards. Bedrooms, mattresses very poor in all rooms, soft, lumpy well worn and really should be replaced. No person in the group had a great sleep. Kitchen knives blunt and no tool to sharpen. Some windows have blown double glazing and should be replaced. Outside yard, overgrown weeds, and broken slabs not suitable for use. One room is used as the living area, as combined lounge and dining table. For size of house, really could do with two living areas, as there is one bedroom downstairs straight of the front room, which was not used for any purpose during our stay.

Very easy to check in and a good location

Everything about the accommodation was great, clean, tidy and well facilitated

Poor communication and hospitality during check-in and throughout our stay; the host failed to effectively communicate by mentioning the fact that the keys were kept in a key box with a code, failed to notify us of the house number and wifi password. My family and I had to wait for 1 hour as his phone was not available. One of my kids suffers from Autism, he started to get agitated as he could not handle the wait. Eventually, we got hold of him but even after that, no further communication was made to make sure we settled in alright, or to let us know of any local facilities.

Easy to find. I was worried there wouldn’t be enough parking as we took two cars but didn’t struggle at all. Always a space and usually right outside the house, if not only a few doors away. Property was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and it suited us for our needs - we were out from early until late each day so a good base to come back to.

Completely our fault, but only one bathroom was a bit of a problem for an 8 person household. Also WiFi code didn’t work when we tried it but to be fair, I didn’t contact anybody about that.

I would just like to start off by saying, I’m forever grateful for such amazing hosts of the property. Communication was easy between us both and very fast whenever needed. The property was clean and exactly how the photos display online. The location of the property was easy to find, and on a street with lovely neighbours. Also it was in very good distance of the little towns and attractions. House was brilliant for a group of 6 aswell.

Nothing. I did have to go and buy a pack of toilet paper, kitchen roll and bin bags - which I believe could’ve been provided but it was alright if I had to purchase them on my behalf anyways. I loved the property.

Nice and clean. Full house to yourself. Free parking. Good kitchen facilities. There is only 1 bathroom that can be a problem if you have a bigger family. But apart from that very good. It is in the quiet area. Not far from Alton towers.

It was clean and comfortable

The property needs some maintenance. In the bedroom, the floor board is completely loose underneath the carpet. I stood on it and nearly fell over. In the front room under the tv there’s a big dip, again covered over by carpet.

Previous occupier didn't clean pans and trays properly. We're greasy.

The house is great, lot of space and very comfortable. You can park in front of the house. The host is really helpful and very kind.
