Emplacement, emplacement, emplacement! Ce magnifique cottage rénové offre une vue sur l'Indian River et se trouve à quelques pas de la gare de Clinton, du port de plaisance de Cedar Island et de plusieurs restaurants. Nous sommes à 30 minutes de route de Yale, à 45 minutes de route des casinos et à 15-20 minutes de route de deux jolies stations thermales bien connues (Water's Edge et Saybrook Point). C'est l'endroit idéal pour un week-end romantique, un week-end entre filles ou une visite à l'université. Notre appartement est situé dans un petit port de plaisance convivial dans un beau quartier résidentiel. Venez en profiter!
La surface habitable de cet appartement est de 200 m² et comprend une terrasse privée avec vue sur la rivière Indian, parfaite pour dîner et se détendre. L'espace a été mis à jour (2019) et est clair et propre. Vous trouverez une cuisine bien équipée, une salle de bain complète avec baignoire et un grand salon confortable. Il y a une chambre avec un lit queen size. Les draps et les serviettes seront fournis. Il y a une place de parking disponible pour votre usage. WiFi est disponible. Un maximum de deux (2) invités de la maison.
Le quartier a des trottoirs pour aller à pied en toute sécurité vers de nombreux restaurants, vers le port de plaisance de la ville ou tout simplement pour une promenade en soirée. Hammonasset State Park est à 10 minutes en voiture. Tarif réduit pour l'utilisation de 2 kayaks ou de paddleboards du Memorial Day au Labor Day.
Nous vivons sur la propriété dans une maison individuelle séparée, nous sommes donc disponibles pour vous suggérer des activités, répondre à vos questions ou répondre à tout besoin pouvant survenir pendant votre séjour.
Nous exploitons une entreprise de location de kayaks et de planches à pédales très active, du Memorial Day au Labor Day. Il y a beaucoup d'activité, surtout le week-end. Pendant la saison morte, c'est une retraite paisible et relaxante pour un week-end.

We loved every thing about our mini vacation
the cottage was beautifully decorated
Absolutely Cozy, the bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked if we needed to cook.
We loved sitting on the deck in the morning watching the sun rise. We took a leisurely walk around the charming neighborhood there are many restaurants and pubs within walking distance.
Our hosts were friendly and very responsive.
We hope to make it back there in the fall.
Overall it was a great experience.

We stayed here just a couple of nights for a quick getaway and were very happy we did! The cottage sits on a marina property overlooking the Indian River and marshland. There's an east-facing deck for nice sunrise views.
The cottage itself is exceptionally clean, bright and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The property is a stone's throw from Hammonassett Beach State Park and convenient to Gillette Castle, restaurants, wineries and breweries; all within a few minutes to about a 45 minute drive. If you enjoy kayaking, as we do, there is a kayak sales and rental store right on the property and we took advantage of the included 2-hour rental one of the days we stayed. The store staff is friendly and informative and the kayaks are in great shape and also very clean.
We met Chris while we were there and found him to be friendly and personable and he reached out the first day to see how we settled in. Great communication from start to finish.
We highly recommend the Cottage at the Marina and will stay here again next time we need a place in the area!

Beautiful and up to date cottage with everything you could ask for...we met Chris and Peanut and they were really nice and helpful...sorry we didn't meet Ann....maybe next time as we definitely plan to come back

We chose this property as a quick weekend get-away. It has a great view of a river inlet where the owners also run a Kayak business. It is within a very quick drive to Hammonasset Beach. The unit itself was immaculately maintained and well decorated. It felt warm and inviting. Every detail was taken care of by the hosts. It was such a welcome change to have linens, towels, soaps, etc all provided. We had a chance to meet the hosts who were very nice and happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this property.

Ann and Chris were great hosts; they made sure we had everything we needed! The house was easy to find, clean and the perfect fit for my husband, 4 month old and me. It was within minutes of restaurants and was close to the Hammonasset state park. The back porch overlooking the water was beautiful and so relaxing in the morning. We would absolutely stay here again!

Nicely appointed inside with a sunny outdoor deck overlooking the marina and beyond. We took a walk among the quiet surrounding streets. We wished we had additional free time to kayak and explore the river that property’s marina operates. Chris and Ann are great hosts and were very accessible. Highly recommend.

This is a very spacious, spotlessly clean rental with beautiful coastal/water/marsh view (no rental below you so it's quiet). The entire property is charming and VERY well maintained. Location is great; close to Route 1, but in a walkable neighborhood and a nice waterfront restaurant/bar (Aqua). The furniture is like new and comfy. There were plenty of extra towels, blankets, etc. provided in the closet as well as bathroom toiletries. A welcome basket of Keurig pods and snacks were much appreciated! The hosts were very gracious and friendly. This cozy rental is a hidden gem!

Staying at Chris & Ann’s is cottage was such a pleasant experience. The minute we opened the door, I noticed how clean it was. Almost everything seemed new or barely used with lots of nice small touches-a snack basket, bathroom supplies, fully stocked kitchen with basic cooking supplies. It was very quiet with a peaceful view of the bay from the balcony. We enjoyed kayaking twice. We hope to go back again!

We were staying here during our wedding weekend and it was the perfect escape for me and my husband. The property is so cool and right on the water. They also own a water sports company and we got 2 free rentals and discounted rates on extras. My husband and his groomsmen ended up kayaking that morning and they had a blast. We met the entire squad who runs the operation and they were so sweet! We will definitely stay here again.

Adorable property!
This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to stay for our baby moon! The property was clean, cozy, and absolutely adorable. Loved the deck with views of the marina too. Chris and Ann were great hosts. We hope to stay again sometime!

Simply Well Done
To those reading reviews, sussing out if this is a good spot for you - just stay here and you will know you made the right choice :). We stayed the first time in 2019, a 4 person family with grown children at their other cottage across the drive and this time I stayed in the 2nd cottage and had a friend from VT over to visit. Both times rate 5+ stars. Welcoming, CLEAN, relaxing, comfortable, great location with plenty of great sunrises and surroundings near the water to walk to and enjoy. Chris, Ann, and Sarah are wonderfully hospitable. WILL stay again.

Exceptional 5 plus Very cozy cottage.
My husband and I spend 11 days at the cottage. Very clean and beautiful view. The restaurants in the area were amazing. Ann and Chris made us feel like family! Will definitely go back.

quintessential beach cottage
Perfect location for anyone wanting to be close to the water. We enjoyed the view over the marina and the river, had only short walks to get fresh seafood, and just minutes to go to town. Chris and Ann were welcoming and accommodating. The cottage is nicely appointed, modern and fresh colors, coastal atmosphere. we found everything we needed in the fully equipped galley kitchen. A highlight of our trip was to take the kayaks out that Chris offers to guests. We certainly look forward to come back.

been visiting this area for years staying in local motels, never satisfied and often disgusted. stayed 2 nights here to visit family, could not ask for a more comfortable, quiet or clean place. owners available and pleasant. Will be back.
