We had been to Tortola before on a cruise stop, but this was our first time to stay on the island overnight. It was fantastic! The house was just as pictured in the listing- even better! The host was great in communicating. Numerous little things made it even better- such as beach chairs for use. Admittedly, Tortola is not for the faint of heart in terms of getting around as the roads are a bit treacherous. But we knew this going in and made sure we planned accordingly. Overall, a great island and great accommodation. We are already planning to go back.

My husband and I loved our stay in Tortola. Jon and Jude responded nearly immediately to all questions and even checked in on us during the stay. The villa is gorgeous with amazing views. The only problem was that the road up to the villa is narrow with exceptionally high speed bumps (you have to have a jeep or something with high clearance or unload the car at every speed bump to avoid scraping...we had an HRV...it was not high enough). Two of our party were unable to walk the road up/down so the beach was not in walking distance from all and there is no side of the road so not the safest walk. However, the local drivers go fairly slowly for most of it and are the most courteous drivers I've ever encountered. Sadly, the same cannot be said about the tourists (who are the majority of the drivers on that hill). The takeaway is that the villa is breathtaking (5 stars) and Jon & Jude and the best hosts and also deserve five stars, just be prepared for the hill/road/speed bumps and the remoteness (we loved it, but the same cannot be said for all in our party).

The Villa is fantastic. The views are Amazing. The Villa had four spacious en-suite bedrooms which were very private. Dinners on the open air dining tables -you have a choice of three, all had great views, a breeze or a ceiling fan. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again!!

The house was perfect and extremely comfortable for a family of 8 adults. We had plenty of space and the view was spectacular. The walk to smugglers cove was approx. 15 mins and a beautiful walk. The house as perfect, had everything we needed and was decorated for Christmas. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic. We arrived to Tortola early in the morning and was met at the ferry dock by Jon and Jude. Our villa was not available yet but they were so gracious to allow us to have access to another property while we waited. Our villa was awesome. I do not think we could have had a better time than we did. I highly recommend this villa.

We just got back from an 8 day stay at Limeberry Villa, and it was fantastic. Jon (owner) was very helpful on the front end answering all our questions about the property, and with suggestions and recommendations for grocery shopping and restaurants. House is exactly as shown and described - very clean, comfortable, well maintained and thoughtfully appointed. The views and location are incredible. My wife and I brought our 4 children (ages 10-15) and my mom along, and the space worked great for us. Even though it was July, the breeze kept the open spaces very comfortable for everyone. The linens, towels and beds were also great. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better vacation, and already hoping to return soon. The West End of Tortola is a peaceful place overall, and even through Smugglers Cove is considered one of the best beaches on the island, there were never many folks there and some afternoons we had the beach almost to ourselves. There are also great dining options nearby, and a pretty well equipped grocery a few minutes away in Sopers hole. The property owner’s assistant was also incredibly helpful during our stay and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was okay. We’d definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

The property was so much better than the pictures depicted. We had a wonderful and very memorable experience. The open air setting for the common space was quite comfortable based upon the location of the villa. The airconditioned bedroom suites were a welcome respite at the end of each day. We highly recommend this property as a place to kick back and enjoy your time on western Tortola.

Everything about this vacation home was perfect. The location was perfect for our stay and the views and home were exactly as depicted online. The home was well cared for and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner was attentive and able to provide anything we needed. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Tortola!

The views from the property were incredibly beautiful. Great view of Jost and other islands. It was a relatively short, but steep walk down the hill to 2 beaches and a few restaurants. The local property manager (Jude) was very helpful and responsive. The villa was clean and the open air living space was nice. The bedrooms were air conditioned and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Property was great. Everything mentioned about the property was as is in person. Location was great and exactly what we were looking for.

Everything was amazing. The place was much more beautiful than the pictures. We did not rent a car, and walked to different places, such as Long Beach and Soper’s Hole Marina, where we could pick up provisions (but we enjoy walking). Making dinner and sitting on the veranda was awesome and such an open airy place. Bedrooms were comfortable and great views as well. Would definitely book there again!

The view is amazing. The attention to detail in the Kitchen was awesome. All you need to get started. The overview on local services was perfect. JUDE was awesome. We were nearly 1 hr late to meet him so we could follow him to the house (his suggestion since the roads are difficult at night). He was so kind and helpful. Truly awesome. The house was amazing! Lovely open outdoor spaces with great views. Perfect location for day trips to Jost and the island’s best beaches and restaurants. Jon and Jude were very communicative and helpful.

Open air living areas allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beautiful natural environment. The air cinditioned bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The house was well stocked with dishwasher and laundry soap and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful villa. Beautiful views wonderful hosts!

Our booking was simple and we met with the owners assistant Jude whom guided us to the property. Walking down the steps into the gorgeous landscape with flowers, bushes and trees on both sides was very inviting. The open living space throughout the kitchen, and dining spaces were beautifully kept and clean. Each bedroom was secure with keypad and had climate control which made them very comfortable. Rooms were spacious with closets, dressers & beautiful bath/shower areas. The master bedroom had a large wrap around deck with beautiful wicker furniture. The kitchen was stocked with all that was needed. There is a separate laundry area & bathroom with 2 washers & dryers. Gorgeous views from the pool, kitchen, grilling area, and bedrooms overlooking the landscape and to the ocean. We had a cleaning lady stop by once to clean. She had made the bed, but did not wash bedding. Some towels were washed and left in dryers and counters were wiped down. On a side note: we did have some creatures that I would have liked to avoid, but my amazing husband had taken care of them (not lizards). By the end of the stay I did have several little lizard friends which all had names and would welcome us daily. If you had any questions or concerns Jude was just a phone call away to answer any questions. I highly recommend a 4WD vehicle to get around the island. This property is close to the West end ferry and a short drive to Smugglers Cove & Long Bay. You will want a good bug spray with deet for the evenings at home and at the beaches. It took us about 45 min to drive to Beef Island airport which is the other side of the island. I recommend getting out and seeing all that Tortola offers. Everyone is very welcoming and it is important to support the islands businesses. When we did stay home - we enjoyed the pool, views of the ocean, and romantic dinners. This home offers so much privacy and tranquility. The pool was our favorite spot no matter what time of day it was. We truly LOVED our 10 night stay and would love to return with our entire family. So until next time......

This property is stunning and makes you feel at home in no time (strangely since it is sooo different than home). The view is amazing. The property managers Jonathan and Jude are excellent and ultra responsive. They went above and beyond for us, in terms of communication and assistance with details of the trip that were not even related to the property rental (eg. rental car, grocery, recommendations). A couple things that you need to know: 1. the roads on the island (and to this house) are incredibly steep (sometimes perilous for those not used to them) and someone in your party must feel confident in their driving skills. For locals, the mountain roads are no big deal. Renting a vehicle with four wheel drive is helpful to have at times if you will be doing some exploring. 2. The shared areas of this house are open air. For us, this was wonderful. Having a breeze come through the living room was always welcomed, even if it occasionally stirred up the playing cards. All areas of the house were incredibly clean. You will see the occasional tiny lizard run through which we thought was very cool. Our kids loved having them around. 3. the infinity pool is bigger than it appears in the photos, which was a welcomed surprise. It was absolutely amazing swimming on the edge of the hillside - very dramatic. Two thumbs up for this VRBO - we had a memorable time on Tortola and it all started with having this beautiful villa as our home base. The villa provided the perfect place for us to relax and wind down before we set sail on our trip! Jonathan was an excellent host, the house was spacious and the views were spectacular! As always, having a four wheel vehicle on the island was a necessity; Jerry's car rental was great for that. Cheers to Tortola!

This place is perfect. It is extremely spacious and each room is it’s own little cottage. This is great for couples or families. Every bit of detail to this villa was carefully planned out and the views are pronominal . Oh, and you can see the stars clearly at night. Jude took great care of us and helped us with our luggage. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the BVI’s.

Traveled to the BVI for a sail charter and stayed 6 nights here to fulfill our quarantine period. Fortunately just before we arrive they dropped the the 4 day test so once we all received our negative day 1 test we were free to move about. Our stay in Limeberry could not have been better. The villa is gorgeous, more than comfortable, and it's host Jon, is fabulous. He made sure we were settled in and offered his assistance to assure that our stay would be enjoyable and memorable (especially during these usual Covid times). The property is absolutely beautiful. A small group of us stayed here prior to a catamaran vacation. The property was perfect for our needs. The owner and the manager were fantastic, they went above and beyond to assist us. They made excellent recommendations on which companies to do business with. The Villa is very well equipped, just bring clothes and food! We would stay here in the future.

This is a beautiful property in the lush green hills of Belmont. The view is the best we have experienced in the Caribbean. The kitchen, dining table and sitting room are open to the outdoors allowing great views from every room. Mosquitoes were not a problem as long as we applied bug spray a couple times per day. All bedrooms had air conditioning and large comfortable beds. The owner, Jon, was a pleasure to deal with and very welcoming and responsive during our visit. The best beach in Tortola, Smugglers Cove, is a 15 min walk or 5 min drive away.

We snorkeled in many lovely areas with clear water, abundant tropical fish, sea fans, and coral. The BVI and Limeberry Villa is a true island experience. The locals are friendly and helpful. The island of Tortola is not commercialized. No fast food franchises, no slick shopping malls. Just true beauty with each dawn. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives.
