Muchos escalones para llegar a la recepción y habitaciones pues queda en lo alto del area de downtown Charlotte Amalie. 2 piscinas. Estructura antigua no habitable para personas que tengan alguna discapacidad, no había agua caliente en el lavamano, a veces ruidos, etc. de huéspedes de noche, no habia enchufle para el recargar celular , computadora, etc.sino en la pared del baño era el más accesible. Tv no funcionaba al momento. Buen aire acondicionado habitación . Si se trae carro hay parking disponible y serían menos subir los muchos escalones de piedra y cemento.Mejorar la barandilla cuando se suben los escalones. No es un edificio moderno pero posee una vista maravillosa hacia el mar y disfrute de la naturaleza desde la marquesina mientras se desayuna el huésped, self serve breakfast desde las 8 a.m. La llaves se dejan en la recepción y no hay que esperar por los administradores del area recepción para check out 11:00 a.m.Check in 3 p.m. Modernizar un poco más las habitaciones.

Galleon House is a comfortable hotel with excellent views over the hills and harbour, a nice pool and two great open air hang out spots (one covered breakfast area plus a second area by the pool) where you can hang out all day. The gardens interspersed around the property are stunning, there are hummingbirds and a few shy lizards, and the staff are warm and helpful.

There was some fresh fruit and yogurt at breakfast but more would have been nice

Great location. Room was nice with good view of the water. Lovely pool! Harry and Seema (sp?) were great hosts. Beer and drinks always available.

Breakfast was ok. Could have had a bit more variety when staying more than a few nights. Maybe add boiled eggs, yogurt etc.

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT! GREAT VIEW!

BREAKFAST WASNT HOW IT WAS ADVERTISED, AND THE ROOM WOULD RUN OUT OF WATER AFTER 3 TO 5 MINUTES. THE LAST DAY THEY DID HAVE A WATER MAIN BREAK. FLOOR WASNT VERY CLEAN. I WAS EXPECTING MORE FOR THE PRICE.

The Galleon House is in a great location with restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff are alll extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel like family. I would definitely stay there again.

Terrific welcoming staff! Small inviting pool area with loungers. Simple breakfast of instant oatmeal, coffee, bagels/cream cheese, packaged muffins/bars/treats & fruit served in veranda area. Nice view from upper terraces. Dish TV. Free parking based on availability. Area felt safe and comfortable.

Booked the economy room with shared bath. Wasn't expecting a ton at the price point, but the room itself was pretty rough & uncomfortable. We would try a non-economy room in the future.

The location of this property is central - a walk away from the main area in Charlotte Amalie - you can easily walk to shops and restaurants within 10 minutes. The ferry terminal is a 10-15 min walk away as well. If you stay here, you do not need a car to access shops and restaurants, but will need a car to access the beach. The pool is of good size, which is good if you want to go swimming.

My husband and I booked this hotel for one night - a quick stop before we took the ferry the next day. Per the photos, the garden view room with a queen bed looked of decent size. However, we must have gotten a room that was not featured in the photos - our room was tiny, almost too small to even access our two suitcases. The queen bed was up again one wall with little walking room around two edges. The bathroom was comfortable size. Overall, the room felt outdated and dungy. It brought me back to my days in my early 20's when I would stay at hostels. I would say a good scrub down and painting would go a long way.

Smell in room. Mold mildew...smelled like dirty shower curtains

The location is right in town and the pool is nice.

The a/c didn’t work when mentioned to staff it wasn’t working nothing was done. Water pressure is nonexistent (notice it dribbling out in the photo). Breakfast is a joke especially for a place that is going to call itself a b and b. It was fruit cups and granola bars.
