Hotel was clean and bed comfortable. wide range of facilities on site but not used

Shower water pressure is very poor and rooms are basic (but fine). Receptionist on check out was very rude and not friendly. Definitely put me off staying again!

The room was very dusty , I didn’t sleep well at all. The room was not fresh , there is no value for money . I expected better , better for the holiday inn brand.

Building in a general state of disrepair. Room ok, bathroom very small and water pressure in shower poor. Evening meal pretty grim.

Staff were friendly. Great welcome from Jagjit on arrival. Room was warm, bed comfortable. Very quiet. Great location off the M4. Amazing value for money.

Decided to eat out in the evening as menu wasn’t to our family and children’s liking

Room was very clean and incredibly well equipped. Had bath robes, drinks, snacks! I was so impressed as we don’t get that in London! Well done Swindon, fantastic hospitality.

There was no staff at reception on arrival. We had to wait for someone to come. There should be someone at reception at all times.

Breakfast good. Tear in curtain in bedroom and no shower cap. Pillows lovely.

Dirty, rude staff, food was undercooked so I ended up with food poisoning, bed was stained with wee, shower screen glass was insecure (DANGEROUS)! Arrived to find I have two single beds and no bath even though I had booked a double bed room and the description stayed the room was a double and had a bath tub in the bathroom. Mentioned it to the manager and was told that if I didn’t like what I had been given then I should stay elsewhere!! So rude!! I asked for a refund due to the incorrect room being given and state of it. I was told that if I wanted a refund I needed to take it up with ‘someone who cared’ I am absolutely disgusted by the way they handled everything and I am horrified by the whole situation with my booking not being correct.

The bathroom was a little small and water pressure was a little poor too

Pool was a great facility. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was excellent good choice at breakfast. Free parking for guests excellent addition. Great value for money.

No one on bar as both staff doing room service so a long wait . Maid knocking on the door at 10am and 10.30am even though we had room until 12. Mixed messages being told to take towels from room to pool and then being offered one at pool.

Breakfast was really good and so was the dinner. There are many choices for kids and adults. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Having booked this hotel as a family of 5 we ended up with 2 rooms instead of one which would have been good if the rooms had been next to each other but they were 26 rooms apart. Meaning we had to split up. This ended in us all sleeping in one room.

Good staff, clean and smart hotel, good menu in the evening and good breakfast selection.

Nothing negative

We had initially booked another IHG hotel in Swindon but we’re relocated on arrival as no room’s available.on arrival Charmaine at reception was very helpful quickly checking is in and sorting out a taxi for us.
