Reception were pathetic regarding payment when their eftpos machine was not working properly which apparently was my fault, have never had so much run around ever, car parking ok but expensive @ $39 pn, believe our room on floor 23 (the top) may have had a big aircon just above on the roof that made sleeping impossible

The location was good for us..right in the middle of the town..Really loved the balcony..the beds very comfortable.

A extremely annoying shrill/alarm kind of sound that seemed to be coming from the aircon....it was quite but just constant all day and night

The first suite we were booked into had a faulty fridge and a cooktop. They had to move us to a different suite which was a hassle.

Good location and friendly staff

Shower was incredibly dirty and rusty. A lot of limescale. We expected to move rooms but weren’t offered that. Owner explained it was overdue maintenance but we were still charged full price

The hotel was located conveniently. It had all the basic facilities.

The property is a little dated. Tye carpets were not vacuumed well.

We could not recommend this property more! everything was perfect and fantastic value for money, our apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay and more. The staff went absolutely above and beyond for us since the beginning, we had a chilled bottle of wine in our fridge and a lovely message as we stayed here at the end of our honeymoon. Our flight home unfortunately got cancelled so we had to try and sort out a new flight and a place to stay at very short notice in Brisbane City - extremely disappointed that this property was unfortunately already booked out so we couldn’t stay here but the staff couldn’t of been more helpful and considerate of our situation. They let us sit in the lobby and use the staff Wifi to sort our new flights home, one staff member even leant us her personal phone to call the airline - this even meant she had to stay after her clock off time as we got stuck on hold (thank you so much!). The lovely staff spent a lot of time calling around other Oaks properties and researching accomodation availability around the city for us, they ended up getting us a really good discount at somewhere nearby. We really would’ve been completely lost and helpless without this assistance from the fantastic team. We always have a fantastic experience at Oaks properties, highly recommend!
