Helpful staff, who spoke some-to-good English (geen Nederlands!). Small room, some corners needed small maintenance but no complaints overall. Good shower. Rooms were themed after famous women. Fresh French breakfast.

If you want an immaculate and anonymous large corporate hotel, this is not for you.

Staff were just amazing. The gentleman man who was when I checked in gave me a very helpful tourist advice and suggested cities near Nice to be visited, and his advice was brilliant. I enjoyed every moment there.

Tiny bathroom!

The single room was very nice, it had a very nice street view and there was a lot of light. The hotel was very easy to reach and very close to everything. The staff were amazing, thank you for everything!

Everything was great, the bathroom was a bit small but since it was a single room that wasn't a problem at all.

Good reception, good value, and I enjoyed my breakfast

The bathroom was small and cramped and the shower luke warm, and my room was on the fourth floor with no lift. But this is not and does not pretend to be a four star hotel. Overall I was very pleased with my choice.

I liked staying in this hotel very much. The bed is very comfortable, and my room was warm and comfortable and cleaned every day. The breakfast was really tasty, I enjoyed croissants, fruits, and coffee. The people working in this hotel are really lovely. Also, the location is excellent, Garibaldi and Mamac are just next to it.

We went to this hotel, which has a great location. Everything can be reached on foot, but also there's a great transportation system. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They provided useful insights about the city, made their best to make our stay comfortable and even offered us an umbrella on a rainy day. The place is clean and cozy, and it also has a small garden. We recommend you to stay here.

Great location, close to everything. Very warm welcome from Pascal and the staff. Simple room but comfortable and very good value for central Nice. Hotel shining with personality because each room had the name of a famous "dame". Really nice breakfast too. And Pascal incredibly kind, because he helped me ship my road bike back to England under difficult circumstances.

The owner seemed like a nice person.

No elevator and no AC

the location is very convenient. close to various bus and tram lines. the staff is very friendly and helpful. they explained also where to go visit nicely.

the toilet flush button is very off… there is no AC (but there is a fan) so at night had to close the window to reduce the noise, which in turn increased the heat a bit. but in the end it is cheaper than other places.

As we planned a sudden trip hopefully we got a good place to crash.

The fan in the room was not that fast enough to cool the place in the current hot weather & we felt the room was a little bit small from the photos which were put on the site.

There is nothing bad about it, both in terms of location and cleanliness. The 24 hour front desk was great for me! The front desk guy was very nice and despite not speaking English well, he was able to make me understand. I was happy that he was able to give me a tour of the city on a map, which really helped me to get to know the city quickly. Another thing I would like to say is that many of the little details in the rooms show that this hotel is trying to make its residents feel better, which makes it very comfortable.

It was very hot and there was no air conditioning in the rooms, but that's not the hotel's fault, it's rarely this hot in Europe! At least there was a fan in the room.

I think that everything was fair enough considering that it's a one star hotel. It felt somehow cozy, I enjoyed my stay in the end.

Without AC in the summer time it can be indeed difficult. There is a ventilator, but you need to keep also the window open (still not enough though). Bathroom indeed is very small.

We loved the Hotel des Dames as it is. Very friendly and helpful owners and employees. There is no lift or AC, so please read the details online. Situated close to public transport and easy walk to the old town.

The personal is very helpfull and the location of the hotel is great for visiting Nice.

However being there in June it was very very hot in the room and the room had no aircondition. Being with the room close to the roof did not help. It was so hot that sleeping was almost impossible

I was really happy with the service at the reception - I was just staying here before a work conference and he gave me helpful advice not just for my short stay there but also the rest of my time in Nice. For the price, I found the hotel to be a good value and the location was very central and convenient, close to a central tram stop but not too loud.

There was no air conditioning but I knew that in advance and to be honest I don’t have air conditioning at home so I can’t really complain. A fan was also available in my room which made the experience much more comfortable.

The location is perfect. Close to the city center and train station. The staff was very polite. The room was also nice with all neccesary services for staying one-two nights.

Splendid location, place Garibaldi and the train station Nice Riquier (direction Monaco) are very close on foot. Amazing, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast. Unique, stylish room decorations.

The bathroom is quite small. The stairs can be challenging with those with reduced mobility.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Cosy rooms and lovely little backyard. Located outside the main tourist area but still central and only 2 minutes walk from the tram stop.
