I very much liked this hotel, the suit was big, the bed was super comfy, and the sauna in the suit was a great extra. The scenery from the balcony is breathtaking. We will definitely come back here.
We asked for a coffee in the morning and the service charge was 10 euros, which is quite pricy, but other than that everything was great.

Staff were excellent, the breakfast lavish and the room outstanding. I loved the grounds. The gardens were beautiful.

This hotel is amazing, I could not praise it more. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It's spotlessly clean and welcoming. The food is great and a good selection to choose from. Our room was very spacious and clean and the bed very comfy. If we return to Zell am See we will definitely stay here again. Close to shops restaurants and the lake. It was a great location for us as we were travelling on our motorbike, so it was central to all the places we wanted to go. On our first day we had a massage and used the spa facilities which are lovely and relaxing just what you need after a days riding.
Nothing really, everything was great. Only thing I could say is there was no coffee in the room. There is a kettle and fruit tea but no coffee or English tea and no milk. So on our last morning when we left very early so the breakfast was not open we would have had no tea or coffee. Luckily one of the other guests had some coffee sachets and milk with him and he gave us a couple.

Breakfast was good, although could have done with some replenishment in the second half of the breakfast slot. The room was a really good size and had a sofa and fridge. The hotel had bikes which were free to use. Also, we had a Summercard provided by the hotel which meant we could do many activities for free, or at a discount - this saved us so much money.
The room we had was in the separate apartment block and this was right next to the road which could be noisy at times. As there was no air con, we either had to close the windows (it was very hot during our stay) or tolerate the road noise. This tended to also make the balcony not very appealing, plus there was no shade or parasol.

Excellent and helpful staff that supplied a lovely breakfast! Ideal location. Great facilities and pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. Summer Card is great too as gives access to bikes and other actives around the village.

The lady who checked us in was very efficient and pleasant, she was a professional.
Sadly we fell into the trap that many people on here also seem to have done. The hotel itself is very nice. Old world charm, and good breakfast, however although we booked the Romantikhotel we were put in the annex, which when booking explained nothing other than it was in the annex.
However be warned, this annex is actually a different business entirely, a shabby 1990’s apartment block on the edge of the car park and main road with extremely loud traffic, in comfy beds, no aircon, and a giant portrait of Kate and Will. In fact, booking.com should not even have this room available under the romantikhotel, it should be under a separate page entirely, as when visiting the hotel’s website it is not listed there at all, a google search found it as “stadtpark appartments”. Sadly the hotel could not accommodate us so we had to argue with booking.com who accepted that it shouldn’t be listed and managed to get us an early check-out and our money for the rest of the trip.
A shame as the hotel itself would have been lovely, and we were looking forward to staying there.

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Excellent selection of items for breakfast. Pool and sauna were a very nice surprise. Fantastic to be able to use those right in the middle of the town. The whole experience worked very well for us and we would definitely choose it again when we return.
