Beautiful, historic and tastefully decorated hotel. The welcome and arrival briefing was excellent. All the staff were charming and helpful.

Wow. What a beautiful hotel. Set in an old 16th century monastery, part of it still in use by monks. Lovely small swimming pool. Great, friendly staff. Cannot praise this enough. A few minutes walk into the old town with tapas bars and eateries. The main square approximately 15-20 minutes away by foot. PS we were 6 guys on motorcycles and they even let us park our bikes in the garage without charge! Exceptional!!

Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Literie top ! Salle de bains un peu datée. Accueil toujours aussi appréciable. Vues imprenables. Buffet petit-déjeuner très qualitatif.

Palacio de San Esteban is, well, a palace! Imposing, impressive, historic, beautiful, what else - splendid walking distance to all that monumental unique Salamanca has to offer. Service was good and there is nothing more to say other than go and experience for yourselves!

Breakfast room was delightful and on the first morning staffed with amazing people. On the second morning we had to ask for coffee etc.

La ubicación buenísima, con vistas y cercano a lugares históricos de Salamanca. La amabilidad y atención del personal del hotel fue excelente. El desayuno muy rico y variado.

No hay nada que destacar.

Staff were wonderful, the hotel was clean and bright lovely room, simply fabulous. Oh and the location superb, a few minutes walk from the centre.

Car park is tight but staff on hand to sort it out, we had a vw camper so not your regular car.

Veel te kleine kamers en badkamer veel te klein voor een deluxe suite. Bij onze aankomst was er een huwelijksfeest aan de gang waardoor we niet goed ontvangen zijn. Geen uitleg, was er zeer rumoerig (tot ‘s nachts) en we konden hierdoor ook niet in het restaurant eten, waarvoor we deels dit hotel gekozen hadden.

This is our second visit to this hotel. Lovely hotel in perfect location for visiting Salamanca. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Great breakfast and comfy bed

Hotel convenient for old city - but be aware, this is just off the centre and despite paying extra for a Superior room, the traffic noise was significant & drunken revellers going home at 2am. Superb value lunch 'menu' - smaller portions, which we prefer, & excellent food.

Swimming pool dirty & closed - also adjoining garden closed so nowhere to sit outside unless eating on terrace - no advice in advance. Not advised on arrival that wedding party would be taking over the restaurant on Saturday. Very limited a la carte menu, so used room service - one order missed, so wife had finished hers before mine arrived! Unless you are a Spanish speaker, would be helpful to have room service menu items numbered - & staff repeat the order back to you. Restaurant staff disorganised - different person brings the order so table numbers would avoid them wandering aimlessly with plates of food & coffee, & asking various guests if it's theirs! No information folder provided in room. Went down to reception desk on 2 occasions & no staff present. Badged as 5 star - but only 3+ standard.

Location within historic Salamanca; we didn't have a car but on site parking was clearly a bonus.

Swimming pool and gardens closed (until mid June?) thus limiting outside areas in what was fine weather; that said we were informed of that when booking.

The staff was fabulous and extremely helpful. The location was amazing. It is right on the edge of the old town but still very quiet as it is next to the old monastery. Our room looked into the cloister which was so beautiful and calming. The breakfast was quite nice, the dining area is large and pleasant. The restaurant is also quite good. The building is a beautifully restored old monastery. Staying here is special and unique experience.

We were next to the elevator and could hear some noise in the hallway in the evening. The mattress was a bit overused. This hotel is on the expensive side.

We have stayed in this hotel a number of times. It is a nice conversion of a very old building, but the modern rooms are rather formulaic and a little boring. However, our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located on the edge of the old town within easy walking distance of the main square. There are good parking arrangements.

Some of the staff have a slightly superior air, which I found irritating. Some bathroom fittings needed updating.

The staff was very nice with us. The room was prepared as requested with a bassinet. The room was a pretty good size and had water and some biscuits. And also other stuff in side the minibar. The location is really good. You can go around the city by walking but still a quiet place for a family to stay. The breakfast was really good and besides what you had in the buffet you could also choose other things you in a list as warm dishes, like eggs, pancakes, etc...

The mattress was too soft and for that reason was a bit uncomfortable. Also, because our room was in the begging of the corridor we got to hear some noise as people would come and go to the room. If it was only me and my husband that wouldn't bother me but because we had our baby with us was not the best room for us to stay.
