The hotel is beautiful with a more traditional style. Lovely location with views of the hills. Parking available at the property. Staff were great, super helpful and friendly. Good wifi connection. Nice toiletries provided in the bathroom. Very clean and well presented.

Location, building itself, people - all were great. A lovely place to stay. Not too warm, as lots of places tend to be in my opinion, and nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast could have been - well sort of less restrictive in a way. A minor quibble maybe, but cereal, yogurt and juice were specifically brought to you and there were no pastries or fuit. This made it feel less satisfying than normal, particularly as the hotel takes pride in its cuisine. All this said, I wouldn't want to overstate it as a negative. Also, the shower was slightly difficult to work and the toilet area small.

From the friendly welcome and right through our stay (2 nights) the service and attention from all staff were exceptional. So was the quality of food in the Amuse-Bouche restaurant - this was real gourmet dining! With interesting and different takes on traditional dishes, plus original offerings. Our room was comfortable, the gardens were nice.

I had a good stay. The room was pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was good. I was able to park in the car park.

The extractor fan in the en suite was not working. I am sure your staff must have noticed.

Rooms- tea in the piano lounge was delightful. Decor throughout property was very attractive. Staff were welcoming and very attentive to guests’ needs. It was quite expensive, but you felt you were living in some luxury. Check and checkout were very efficient and thorough.

Nothing really, though I would not usually pay that much for accommodation, but I often only need somewhere comfortable to sleep.

A fine building, beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the lounge, comfy sofas and armchairs. We had our evening meal in the restaurant, it was fabulous!

Difficult to fault the hotel, but the car parking was a bit tight. On returning to the hotel in the evening there was not a space for us. Fortunately you can park on the road.

Breakfast was served by efficient staff. I had arranged a late check-in and was able to get a drink at the bar on arrival. The whole place had a warm, friendly atmosphere. Free parking (if there is space available!)

I would have preferred sparkling water in the room - very minor niggle.
