Extremely beautiful interior and garden, just like paradise, extremely friendly staff who provide excellent service, extremely delicious high cuisine and creative drinks, phenomenal view on surrounding mountains

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tam Coc Garden Resort. The grounds are beautiful with tropical plants all over the grounds, and views of the mountains and rice fields. The pool is absolutely breathtaking. We spent lots of time there. The pool in July was warm, not particularly refreshing, but we still loved it anyway. Sometimes we had the pool to ourselves. The pool is even more beautiful than the photos. The location of the resort is great. Just outside the town. We used the free bikes to go into Tam Coc for dinner and visit Binh Dong pagoda. The staff was amazing with great English, and very helpful with getting us last minute taxis, and private drivers for excursions around the area. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help with anything you might need. The resort provided a detailed brochure with all the local attractions and distances from the resort which helped us plan our days. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and were very pleased with the service and food. Breakfast was great. Lots of self service items plus dishes such as waffles and egg dishes you can order off a menu. Specialty coffee such as a latte or cappuchino was available to order.

My only suggestion would be to have larger amounts of water and juice available at breakfast since the bottles of water and juice kept running out. The staff would refill the bottles and they would quickly run out again. Also self service coffee would be appreciated so you can have an extra cup or 2 of coffee if wanted.

The location is very peaceful and dreamy, the rooms are very well decorated and it was a great place to spend the first days from our trip to Vietnam. The food in the restaurant is also very nice and they managed to offer us vegan alternatives.

The water in the pool was so hot. I requested transfer from Hanoi airport and also a child seat for the car. The seat provided was a joke and practically not secure at all.

Stayed here for 2 nights and loved every minute. Aside from the sublime, peaceful mountain valley location, surrounded by rice fields, everything is so incredibly charming and well-considered. Impeccably designed facilities, state of the art Japanese toilet and roomy bath with a view, all the staff are so chic in their uniforms. Loved the little poolside hut that served drinks on a quaint patio. Everything you imagine a holiday to look like.

Restaurant could be improved especially regarding varied vegetarian / vegan options.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you are looking for a beautiful boutique hotel with an amazing view, beautiful grounds and garden, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, quiet environment, awesome food, this place is for you! I hope I can go back some day. Our bedroom (mountain veranda room), was so beautifully furnished, had a balcony with a beautiful view. The hotel has great mountain bikes that you can rent for free, which is the best way to explore the Tam Coc Resort.

bit to distant from all the main attractions. the beds are not suitable for those with bad knees/backs as they are essentially a mattress on the floor.

- the setting and views are simply stunning, particularly from around the pool and bar area, and the garden around the bungalows is also beautiful - the staff were incredibly helpful, arranged taxis and hire of moped etc - food was delicious (both breakfast and dinner) - the cocktails were also delicious especially the Pho cocktail - really refreshing - location was a little way out of tam coc but no more than 10 minute moped ride

- we couldn’t get the water in the bath to get really hot so had to use the kettle to help heat it up - although there were bicycles, there were no mopeds there available to hire but it really wasn’t a problem as they arranged for a moped to be brought from Tam Coc for us to hire (we negotiated down from 150,000 to 120,000 VND per day)

Beautiful garden, lovely pool and great looking bedroom. Lovely the headed seat loo!

The sound of the frogs all night while trying to sleep!

what a superb dream you enter the garden: silence, you smell all kind of flowers ! you relax at the pool, super friendly staff, bicycles which are well maintained, super clean and well maintained room - all in all we didn’t want to leave

food was a bit „westernized“ thus not authentic

thanks for everything we loved specially the “fondue” explained I. the restaurant. and .. thank you for the French speaking of most of the personnel. it’s fun and helps anyway.

In winter time and (I guess only) the jacuzzi and pool are not useful

An incredible place to stay. Amazing staff, fantastic location and a highlight of our stay in Vietnam. Worth the money!

The resort is lovely. Very well kept with a warm and friendly staff. The service was excellent. It is in a good location. They provide bicycles and there are many sites within a few kilometers of the resort. Rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast is very good. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would recommend this property.

The breakfast was good but the lunches and dinners at the restaurant were average. You may want to explore other places for meals outside of breakfast. The resort is a bit expensive by Vietnam standards but comparable to other similar resorts in the Ninh Binh area. We did a lot of research I think this is the best resort in the area.
