It’s is nice and close to Bamberg itself - you could walk there if you wanted -3 kms. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Comfortable (double single beds) room, washbasin in the room, friendly receptionist, park near the hotel, simple dinner and breakfast. The shared shower was spacious.

Dirty shared shower, but probably because a lot of people showered in the evening and it wasn't cleaned yet in the morning. Big places of mold in the hallway (not in the room).

even though it’s a bit far away from the center, it’s located in a quiet park area with nature around. the rooms are clean and comfortable. and the breakfast is just perfect! thanks a lot for the hospitality and incredible atmosphere of an old hotel

be aware, it’s a bit far away, you should plan in advance if using train station

Breakfast was great. Full German. The hotel is not actually in Bamberg, it’s a little south in Beg. Dom the center of town it’s a very easy bike ride to the hotel which is by the river. I had a nice room with a balcony. My only problem was that they had the breakfast a little late for me: 07:30. As I’m biking and it is hot I like to start very early to miss the midday heat. Nice people, comfortable and good food.

calm area, no traffic, wide lot of parking lots unfortunately no electric car charging near the place. Only old people in this area shows low jobs available

quite bad internet, too simple breakfast, not to mention weak O2 network coverage in this area.

Great stay They waited for us after midnight. Nice wild park next by for a short walk

The owner was delightful : open, friendly, and an excellent chef We arrived after dark and were immediately offered dinner which was home-made and delicious Breakfast the following morning was plentiful with a lot of choices and beautifully presented Our room was large, very clean and comfortable

Owners are absolutely lovely. Bus stop to city center is immediately in front of the hotel (or taxis can be called to arrive unless than 10 mins.) Gorgeous countryside to hike or bike.

Lots of steps on the property (but staff is always willing to help with bags, if needed)

I think they are planning modernisation of the flooring soon so that would be nice.

For a one night stay it was good. Breakfast was nice and varied. The staff were friendly. The rooms were fine, a bit strange that there were only single rooms but otherwise good. It was a nice location to walk into Bamberg - still a bit of walking (about 40min) but it was through a beautiful park, very enjoyable.

The location wasn't bad but it was not that easy to find when driving late in the evening. It was not immediately clear what was the hotel parking, but it was ok to leave the car outside in the on street parking.
