Not much to do around the hotel

Cosy and luxurious little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff . The decoration of the hotel is very at my taste . Mediteranean atmosfear with nice clear stones and marmors . Very nice swimming pool . We feel like at house !

At beginning a little misunderstanding because it was a birthday with privacy, after we learned that it was a children’s Birthday. The team proposed very good alternative. Thanks for your comprehension !

The staff was great considering we had alot of luggage and the staff was not only great but beautiful, and made me want to return.

We arrived and checked in fine. Then trouble starts. The heating It was off, so the room was cold. We asked for an extra blanket and given a single bed blanket (we had a King size bed). We were still cold so we asked for support. We were given a small, electric stove and blamed because WE did not turn on the heating system! I expect that in a 5 star hotel everything is in order and working, not to be blamed, EVER. We went out to Odessa’s city center: upon our return, we were greeted by a staff member with an "HI"... 5 stars treatment indeed. I then tried to spoke to a staff guy in English... he replies in Ukrainian: "I do not speak English!" Luckily, my partner is Ukrainian so she was able to communicate. The following day, we arrived for breakfast and told that we did not fill a form to have it ready. Needless to say that we were not told about any breakfast form whatsoever. My partner then asked for two croissants but no, there was only one left! I then asked for toasts that came barely warm and disgusting. I saved the best for last. We arrive at the reception with our luggage, give the card key back and say goodbye. We are stopped very abruptly and my partner is told by staff in Ukrainian: "You are trying to run away"... the receptionist then grabs a radio and asks a maid to check the room and the mini bar. I ask what is the problem and I am told that we want to run because we do not want to pay for the minibar!?! The hotel had of course my credit card details so why not charging it? We were instead accused to be thieves and runners, for three small bottles from the minibar! Hard to believe indeed, but very true. At all times of this surreal situation, I had a security guy behind my back, making sure we did not run away! I travelled all over the world, from the States to Australia and NEVER had such an experience and treatment. If this is a 5 stars hotel I am Santa Claus. We felt humiliated and very upset.
