Pedro is a star! He is so generous, friendly and helpful. The property is located on the main street so is easy to find.

The towels were very thin and the couch was uncomfortable.

Perfect place to stay in Pinhao, everything you need to stay in the douro, supermarket 2 minutes away, the river about 5 minutes.. be prepared for stairs, but if your going to the douro, steps & hills are everywhere!!! Lovely Breakfast delivered fresh every morning, check was easy without stress. Perfect stay.

Host was very helpful with luggage up the steep stairs leading to the apartments, local information and provided a wonderful breakfast in the morning . It was chilly and the heat was on when we arrived so that was thoughtful and welcome.

Pinhao is a beautiful place to visit and this apartment was great! Lot of space and a super convenient kitchen. The host, Pedro, was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the door every morning was a much appreciated attention.

The shower curtain could need a little update!

Beautifully appointed apartment with fabulous patios. Charming touches included delivery of b'fast supplies in a basket each morning and the extremely helpful, friendly proprietor Pedro. Looking forward to going back!

The owner is very kind, breakfast was delivered in a basket right to the door.

Blankets, curtains, mattress and pillows of #5 have to be replaced with new ones because of the bad smell. A bit overpriced.

Our stay at Casas Botelho Elias exceeded our expectations! We traveled around Portugal with multiple stops along the way and this was by far our favorite stay of the whole trip. Pinhao is so beautiful and everyone in town was incredibly nice. The space itself felt very authentic and immediately made us feel at home. We were able to meet the host who was extremely kind and accommodating. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Cute breakfast basket, friendly host

The location was awesome but what really impressed us was the morning breakfast! We were treated to a full breakfast in a basket. Pedro our host was exceptional and offered to make any changes we wished to the breakfast for our second morning.

We only had 1 night in the 2 bedroom suite but hey, that’s on us for not booking earlier!

Pedro was very welcoming and communication prior to arriving was excellent. The apartment was spacious and comfortable . The AC in the room was definitely needed and appreciated. The rooftop terrace is a nice extra and is surrounded with great views and fruit trees. Having breakfast delivered to our door was a nice extra touch.

Wonderful location, beautiful patio- we loved cooking and eating outside. The breakfast was amazing delivered by Pedro each morning - and the AC was wonderful in the heat!

The master bedroom (one off the living room) got very hot - the AC cold air did not circulate very well into the room with the door open. I would suggest a fan on the floor to help. Also it would be good to have some additional knives in the kitchen for cooking.

Close to town, easy walk to restaurants (although there are a lot of stairs ). Very nice breakfast delevered in a basket at the door.

As all reviewers mention, Pedro, the owner, is fantastic; friendly, helpful and puts a huge breakfast outside your door each morning. He also advised us on different hikes we could do from Pinhao. The location is good - 5 mins walk from the train station - and the apartment was well equipped.

We booked the last apartment available, which was a studio. It was quite dark and the bathroom was tiny. it would be fine for a night, but if you’re staying for a few days I would definitely go for one of the bigger apartments.

Pedro is really an excellent host, always available for clarification and to help if needed.

Wonderful hosts. Great location to train and river. Easy walking town.

Do not rush Pinhão. Give 2,3 or more full days. Calm and relaxed - take a trip on the river, wander the hills and spectacular views, visit a local Quinta for some tasting. Casas Botelho Elias is perfect for Pinhão. The accommodation is self contained apartments with kitchenette, bathroom and plenty of outside space to enjoy the sun or shade. Breakfast is delivered to your door each morning. Rita and Pedro are perfect hosts. Attentive, informative but not intrusive. A great place to spend your time in Pinhão.

It's a lovely apartment with a nice outside patio area in the sunshine. Our hosts were great and very attentive. They provided lots of useful information on the town including walking routes, Breakfast was excellent.

Pedro and his wife are amazing hosts, very kind and generous. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, definitely recommend and would love to stay again with them.
