Location for the museums was excellent. Hotel a bit dated but comfortable, very near Metro Merode and some decent bars and restaurants.

The location in relation to Brussels was possible to walk or take public transportation, the room was spacious for a single, the room looked into the back yard area and there were birds that I could hear singing. I didn't need to interact with the staff much but when I did they were all very polite, kind, and helpful.

Unfortunately one electric outlet seemed to not function, so one lamp wasn't plugged in/didn't work making the room seem dark. Also, it is necessary to unplug things to plug in say a laptop or phone charger.

Situated in a good neighborhood (a concern since we came by car). Moderately centrally located (metro at 5 min. walking distance; roughly 15min metro to city center), warm room, friendly service.

Interior of room and bathroom old, carpets dusty, had to pay surcharge for parking (only 3 spots available!); fridge was off (not working). Elevator functional, but was a jolting, noisy ride, nerve racking for my partner!

The room was clean and the staff was welcoming. The hotel has good facilities and is in a perfect location close to the European Quarter.

Unfortunately, I could hear the elevator every time it was used which was very unpleasant. Additionally, only the desk-bedroom lamp and the bathroom lamp were working. The desk lamp, ceiling lamp and another one didn't work at all. I asked for the staff to fix it but they were surprised about the issue and unexperienced on how the lamps worked so the issue was not solved and the room maintained without much light. Also, the pilow of the bed was not very confortable.

The Location is great! Staff is extraordinary. It might not be all new and fancy, but it's well maintained and traditional.
