Great location to Kings Cross station. the beds were really comfortable and service from the manager was great!! good water pressure and nice and hot!

Shower was small. No lift to get to 1st and 2nd floor. there are two flights I of stairs for each floor

After reading reviews we thought we were heading for a dump but once we arrived it was the complete opposite, the rooms were small but adequate and was very clean.

The only thing that was a problem is the shared bathroom is on the stairs so there’s a large step to get into it.

Very central location. Within 5 minutes walk to the Kings Cross St. Pancras station, which covers most metro lines in central London. Perfect location to get around London easily with the metro. Also, within 30-40 mins walk to most places as well, so if you don't mind walking (like myself) then the location is perfect too! Friendly host. Came earlier than normal checkin time and was offered a different room that was already ready, but I chose to wait for the room I booked and the cleaning of it. Great gesture though. Clean bed sheets. Clean bathroom. Stayed 3 nights and they changed my towels ones, which was fine. A great find and value compared to the money I paid for the hotel. If you travel alone , want a great location, don't spend too much time in the hotel, and don't expect anything fancy but a place to sleep, then this is your place.

The walls might need an update with the paint. You don't really know how clean the room is, since the floor is covered with a carpet, which does not look super clean, but also it looked okay. Be aware you need to call the receptionist upon arrival, but they respond quick, and they will meet you at the front door within 1-2 minutes.

The sheets and bedding were very nice quality and scrupulously clean

We originally asked for a twin room with 2 beds. We were subsequently offered 2 single rooms with a large single bed in each. HOWEVER, when we arrived after a 12 hour train journey, the 2 rooms were on the 4th floor and NO LIFT! To be fair the guy did carry our VERY HEAVY suitcases up to the top floor. I was so tired I slept well and woke up at 4.45 to the dawn chorus which was rather nice however.

I was a bit weary of this property given the bad reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised. The room was just like the photos, it was very clean and the staff were nice. I had an issue with the hot water, which was quickly resolved with a smile. The only downside was room has no window, but honestly not an issue for me as it was clean and great location. I will come back

The staff were very pleasant, and the hotel was in a perfect location - only a 2 minute walk to King's Cross Station, making it so easy to get anywhere you want. The beds were comfy, and the room was passably clean.

The room was up two very steep flights of stairs with no lift, making lugging our suitcases up and down painful. The room was very small, and the bathroom was beyond tiny - I couldn't turn around without accidentally knocking the door open, which obviously isn't great when sharing a room with a friend.
