Perfect place for hanging around Matera. It's like a START point. FINISH also.

Be aware of stone road when you want to carry the bag.

An oasis in the heart of the action. We were so close to everything and were able to walk to all of the sights. Also, close enough to come back and rest. Very comfortable for our family of 5 with our dog.

Parking is a few minutes from the property.

The location is great, the terrace is nice and the house is comfortable. Host is very friendly and helpfull. Quick response.

The smell (sewerage) in the house was very bad. The floor was very dirty and the bathroom could be cleaner.

This house is perfect for any stay, it’s big, clean, warm and comfy. The owner were very nice with us and explain everything around it, they had great recommendation for food, it’s very close to the Sassi.

It’s a detail but the plugs were tricky and only one worked for mine.

This is a freshly remodeled apartment right across the street from the edge of the ancient Matera Sassi district. It is a short walk to center of the city for retail and dining options. Our hosts were very helpful, advising us with parking. Since we were only there for two days we opted for the parking garage on Via Vena (~10 EUR/day), about a 5 minute walk. On arrival our wonderful hosts met us at the door and found us a spot on the narrow crowded street where we could unload our luggage. Then after we got settled in the apartment they even guided us to the parking garage. The apartment was stocked with ample breakfast supplies which made our visit even more easy and comfortable. The central location allowed us to explore Matera easily. It was a fun visit.
