The host Gina was a lovely person. Very friendly. Place was Clean, great location, plenty of room wifi reliable. The room was a pleasant surprise beds were comfortable. Quiet nights sleep. Highly recommended.

Unloading the luggage was difficult as the property is on a main Street with no where to do off the luggage. We had to double park. Language was a slight problem. Parking was off site and inched a cost.

We had a wonderful stay in a central location in the new city of Matera, only 5 minute walking from the start of the Sassi. Our room was awesome, exactly like the photos, clean, modern, innovative design, with all the necessities. The host was very friendly and he gave us all the needed information for exploring the city, with suggestions for dining and drinks. Everything was perfect.

It was very comfortable and the people that worked there were super friendly and helpful.

Everything was wonderful here- comfortable, clean, cool, and kind staff. It’s close to the sites of old Matera, but very modern. The breakfast in the bar across the street is a nice extra.

This is such a nice place to stay in. The location is perfect and only 2 minutes walk from the historical centre of Matera. The rooms were clean and modern, the room and bathroom facilities are with top quality. The bedsheets were crisp, white and lightly starched, giving this luxurious feeling as if you are in a five star hotel.

Very nice room, as shown in picture, with a Very Comfortable bed. Good bathroom although the automatic light (on a sensor) was unexpected and a bit harsh for any nocturnal visit....😳 Fridge in the room. This is an Italian b&b. The owner/manager met me at the premises to let me in and show me around. She doesn't stay there. A very pleasant and helpful lady. About 5 rooms with a central kitchen which was very well laid out and well stocked with plates, glasses, microwave, coffee machine etc. if you want to prepare food yourself. There is a fruit and vegetable market set up in the mornings in the small square next to the building. Butcher and cheese shop also there. Baker around the corner. Also many restaurants in Matera! Breakfast is with a voucher at the small bar opposite. I was the only guests for 2 nights so all was quiet. Great location for visiting old Matera. It's within 5 minutes of the station, right on the edge of the Centro Storico, with the newer town also being easily accessible.

The building is on a busy street and the room I was in faced onto the street at an elevated ground floor level. I was concerned about traffic noise but wasn't bothered by it as it reduced for the night. My visit was in winter/spring so few pedestrians outside at night. This may be a noise issue in summer. I believe the other rooms were mainly away from the street.

Property is in a very good location, close to the train station and few minutes from the city centre. Very modern property with the shared kitchen area. Bed was very comfy with the whitest bed linen I have ever seen in a hotel. Danilo provided the best customer service. Would definitely stay again if visit Matera.

The location was excellent-not more that 10 minutes from the bus/train, right on the edge of the antico storico, so easy to walk with luggage, and very modern, yet the ancient city was literally 5 minutes, just around the corner.

The only thing that was unusual was that we could not figure out how to stop the revolving colored lights in the bathroom. There was no apparent switch so we kept the door closed all night. Additionally, the bathroom light is on an automatic sensor so the bright light light is automatic as soon as you open the door-it is not controllable by the guest.

location is perfect. the property has a kitchen with a coffee machine and coffee pods for those who like their caffeine fix. they also have wine glasses, utensils and bottle openers. my room had a babyliss hair dryer but no iron.

Everything was perfect! the location, the room was modern, clean and nice. Great bathroom and shower (hard to come by in Italy!) Service from Dzina was great, very friendly and helpful. i asked her for an iron and she did not have one, however when I came back to the room later that day it was in the room! She gave us a bottle of complementary Prosecco for our anniversary.

Perfect location, between the train station and the Sassi. Friendliness and availability of Dzina, very competent and kind employee. Quality and comfort of the facilities. The room, with recent renovation, is charming, super comfortable and perfect lighting, has all the necessary furniture for a comfortable stay and has absolutely everything a traveller needs: air conditioning, fridge, hairdryer, TV, internet, safe, etc. The extreme quality of the mattress and sheets guarantees a perfect night's rest. It would be ideal if the breakfast was not so bad.

The breakfast included in the rate is not a breakfast, it is a cappucino and a brioche or... an artificial juice and a brioche... or a coffee and a brioche, taken standing at the counter of a tiny street cafe, or at a little table on the pavement next to the street bin and with traffic passing incessantly 1 meter from the table.
