La localisation et l'architecture.

le manque d'un accueil chaleureux , le fait qu'ils ont gardé $1800 pendant un mois après j'ai quitté l'hôtel (j'ai payé ma facture en espèces mais ils ont bloqué ma carte de credit pendant un mois!) Au resto fameux pour le steak, j'ai reçu un morceau de viande pas assez cuit et l'autre trop cuit. Le service était très pressé et le restaurant n'avait pas aucun ambience plaisant. La deuxième nuit au restaurant chinois , j'avais une table au fond du resto à côté des toilettes. Tous les bons tables sont réservés pour les clients pas comme moi. En fait il y avait trois tables au fond avec les clients pas chinois-singaporiens. :-) Les couloirs de l'hôtel étaient sales surtout les éléments en bois et toujours bruyant avec les personnes de ménage. Une fois, devant ma fenêtre il y'avait des ouvriers sur le toit quand je me déshabillais. Souvent il y avait des événements à l'hôtel que bloquait l'accès à l'escalier avec les décorations moches. Pas cohérent avec la 'classe' et l'histoire de Goodwood.

I love this hotel. Its an old world experience and is a low-rise hotel with 2 pools set it gardens, unlike pretty much every other hotel in Singapore which are multi-storey towers. Good restaurant/bar options and an easy walk to Orchard Road which is the main shopping district. Large rooms and very quiet. Best beds of any hotel I have stayed in.

the fitness facilities are limited

one of the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed at. our rooms had plenty of room - nicely furnished and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool was great. Wonderful breakfast.

Liked everything, Nothing to complain about.

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful except for one but the rest compensated for that. The location is of course superb as it's in the city. We liked that although it's in the city, we still feel calm and serene. It's a quiet and nice place to rest.

We stayed at the Parklane Split Level Studio Suite, it is a nice layout however, the place would have seen its better days. Quaint but the rooms need to have a facelift. Perhaps on hindsight, we should have taken the room in the main building as we would have assumed that the rooms and building would have been maintained better.

I like this hotel and stay often. Generally the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and well appointed, room service is excellent.

I was checking out early in the morning as I usually do. I had a car and driver waiting for me in an area where casual parking is normal. The driver has parked there many times, waiting for me. On this occasion the hotel staff harassed my driver and then woke me up at 12:00am to complain about my driver. The staff was very rude and I will not stay at this hotel again.

部屋がきれいで広い。シャワーが使いやすい。テレビは世界のNEWS、スポーツ等30チャンネル程。NHKも見られる。朝食バイキングも美味しい。

オーチャードから少し歩く。ロビーまで坂道になってるので、歩行や荷物で大変ならタクシー利用がおすすめ。

The location was ideal for our stay.

Tired furniture/decor let us down. Issue with Aircon but it was resolved quickly by staff.
