breakfast was excellent kept me going all day on the fells and the location of the property was ideal just a few minutes walk to the shops and pubs and the views from my room were good and very little traffic noise
there was not really anything to not like as it was so enjoyable to have a comfy bed and nice room after a poor attempt at camping for four nights and because of various reasons getting very little sleep too old i guess for camping in a backpackers tent

Staff were very friendly, once shown our room we were left alone and not disturbed once which we appreciated as this was a child free break, the location is excellent and only a two minute walk into the Center of Keswick, we got parked directly outside the accommodation which was ideal, there is a communal lounge on the first floor which we have not seen before, it over looks the park and think it would be ideal if away with friends staying in another room or if we take the children, we would recommend and we will definitely be back

Superb B&B - friendly hosts, great breakfast, superb location close to the Lake.
Comfortable, well appointed guest lounge to sit in was a real bonus.

So we visited in mid-August, right in the middle of the heatwave.
The weather is obviously not in the control of the B&B owners - but the room was utterly stifling. Window could only open a little bit, so room got quite uncomfortable at night.
Might have been nice to have a little fan in the room or something.
Appreciate that it's not always this hot - so I can imagine it being perfectly comfortable at any other time of year.

Room could’ve been cleaner. Carpet really needed updating or deep cleaning. Communication could’ve been better and more responsive before my stay started

We couldn't have wished for a better stay in Keswick. Heather was a great host and provided an outstanding breakfast. It was no problem to get a special breakfast for our diet (vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free). The view from our room was simply stunning as we had a direct view on the surrounding landscape and mountains. We would love to come back in the future.

The room was a good size and was right next to the guest lounge. We were the only ones who used it so that was a bonus. The breakfast was excellent and the location could not be better.
The shower in our room was a little underwhelming and car parking is a slight issue but on the whole there really isn't anything to not like with this property.
