Great location to take in the city.

This comfortable and roomy apartment is just a block from the train—easy access to everything. The bedroom facing the train tracks can sometimes be a bit noisy, but the other bedroom is quiet.

We loved this apartment! The rooftop is great! The location had lots to do around it!

The property was super easy to access via any public transportation. We used the "L" orange line from Midway airport and got off within a block of our VRBO. We asked a lot of qustions a the front desk and they were always friendly and helpful for us "rookies". We had a grocery store (Bockwinkel's) within a couple of blocks that had amazing soups and plenty of other options. The property had plenty of kitchen supplies for our needs. There are no food or cooking items as the owners request all food items be disposed of after each stay. We would certainly stay here again for our next Chicago adventure.

The apartment was very clean and just as described. The hosts were responsive and super accommodating. You really can't beat the location. You can walk to just about anywhere, or hop on any of the trains, all of which are no more then 2 blocks away. We took the red line to Wrigley several days in a row and were able to get there in 15 mins. The building itself is also pretty good. The rooftop terrace is a great amenity, though it could use some TLC. Some things are in disrepair up there. The people working in the lobby were all really friendly and helpful, which came as a shock to us east coast folk :) The noise from the "L" trains are really not that bad, the noise machine or earplugs should suffice for most people not used to cities. My only real suggestion for the owner would be to install blackout shades in the bedrooms. It is super bright in there with just mini blinds. Overall, I highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting to take in all that Chicago has to offer. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again!

This is a very difficult review to write because it was such a mixed experience. First the location is right downtown which is very convenient and so easy to use public transportation. Even with 2 kids under 5 we only used public transport for the entirety of the trip. The apartment was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Yes there is a lot of city noise but actually it did not bother any of us including my 3 and 4 year olds. When we arrived we discovered that the washing machine was broken, we were traveling lite with 2 kids and absolutely needed it. Staywell arranged for us to use the washer in the apartment next door and it was a lifesaver and really feel like it was wonderful service from them. The apartment was pretty warm and the AC did not work, it was apparently a building issue but was not fixed by the time we left and our last day there was very uncomfortably warm. The huge downside for us was marijuana smoke seeping into the apartment through the bathroom vents. It smelled so strongly at times we had to leave the door closed and vent on. It was very uncomfortable especially with our two young children. Also just be aware both showers cannot be used at the same time, the water pressure will drop to zero in one of them. Not a big deal but just be sure how you time your showering. Overall, this was a great stay and would probably have been perfect for a group less bothered by smoke.
