the owners are so sweet, really nice and comfy hostel.

Lovey downstairs area with pool table and places to sit. Good atmosphere and music.
Unfortunately the rooms and toilets were not good. Only 2 toilets / showers for the entire hostel and the upstairs sink leaked water everywhere whenever you used it, so the floor was pretty unclean. No toilet paper either!

The host at La Casa is great at helping to set you up for doing the Thakhek loop, which is why we visited Thakhek. The dorm is spacious and the shower is nice. The hostel is located nearby many good and affordable restaurants.
It would have been nice if the beds had some privacy curtains.

The owner is very helpful with the looping information. Also has nice social vibe.
Since is a big room with a lot of beds I would suggest at list some curtains to have more privacy.

the bed ! and the bathroom was quite good.
also that they arranged for us the motorbikes for the loop
one of the owners was too loud. the night before we started the loop, we could really hear him talking very very loud from the roof and toke us a while to fall asleep. was 11pm.
the kind of moment when someone is very drunk and can’t control himself.
would be ok before but once we tried to sleep… waiting for him to go to sleep when you are paying to have a place where to sleep, not nice.

Very lovely staff. We had a great night there. Also the food is really good and big portion.

Beautiful place, good vibe and super helpful staff. Nico gave advice on the Thakhek loop and how to do it the best way. Also great with booking transportation and other things. Dorm room was nice and clean and is actually a 6 person and 4 person room joined by an open doorway rather than one 10 person room.

It was amazing stay! The owner is really nice and gave us a lot of information about the loop, we had double room with bathroom and everything was clean, bed was comfortable and wifi great for working also, you can get delicious breakfast and also dinner, we really enjoyed our stay! It was quiet at night so we slept very well and relaxed after the loop, it was great that we could leave our bags when we went on loop, and the owner also arranged bus tickets for us, so as it says the name of the hostel ' la casa' we felt like at home, thank you!

Comfortable beds, quite clean. It was near the center and bike shops to rent a bike for the thakek loop. Hood to stay for 1 or 2 nights.
There was no AC. Only 2 bathrooms for all the guests. We left our backpacks there during the Thakek loop and when we got back they were full of dust.

The hostel is clean, no wired smell in the bathroom. Water refill for free.
Their is a good vibe in the hostel, people Come from outside only to spend time there.
The food is simple but delicious! I even met this populare italian restaurant head chef eating there!
Nico and Jey are 2 french guys who speak lao really Well (i understand lao myself), they have good behaviour with the locals who concider them as good friends! Maenning they are truly good poeole!

Loved the food and the hostel as a whole was really nice. I didn’t realise there’s no aircon when I booked it but other than that it’s great! French guy working there (sorry forgot your name!) was super helpful and nice.

We arrived a 1am with the bus and it was open
The place is clean with nice people
The owners help you to prepare you journey in the loop and arrange also bus ticket for you
The bed could be more confortable and curtains would be good

Helpful owners, good location
No lockers in the dorm. I had to ask owners to hide my laptop. It is not really comfortable to think what to do with Your passport/computer/camera instead just being able to put it in locker by the bed
Music blasting in the evening as if it was a club. It was not a companying the night in the night, it was blasting
If You have animal fur allergy there is owners dog around that sometimes enters even the dorm You sleep in
