This place has more high-quality designer furniture than anywhere I’ve been outside of a literal designer furniture store.
The vibes in the living room are impeccable, the art on the walls in the main areas and the bedrooms is really intriguing digital photography, and there is a strong, balanced cohesion of color throughout the pieces and furniture in the house.
Giampiero, the host, was gracious, and served us a huge, impeccable breakfast, with incredible attention to detail. All of the utensils on the table faced the same direction, and the dishes were modern danish classics.

This is Italian hospitality at its finest. We were so moved to buy every generous gesture and attention to detail. What gracious hosts. There could not be a more enjoyable, welcoming accommodation on the Maine coast!

This is a wonderful place. After 3 nights it feels like home. We changed reservations in another place to come back here in a couple weeks. Everything exceeded our expectations.

We had a truly exceptional stay at Casa Alchimia. It is a beautiful facility, the hosts were warm and welcoming, and we had the best breakfast we have ever had in a B&B. The Casa is tastefully furnished, conveniently located, clean, and comfortable with great attention to detail. The owners take a genuine interest in their guests and we greatly enjoyed conversing with them over a glass of wine. We plan on returning for certain and recommending it to all our friends who visit Maine.
There is nothing we disliked. Our only disappointment was that we planned too short of a stay!

Our experience at Casa Alchimia was nothing short of exceptional. The house and your room was modern, fresh and clean. The hosts, Monica and Giampy were so kind and welcoming. The breakfast was incredible and my favorite part of my day!!! I highly recommend staying here!

This is my third stay at Casa Alchimia and I can’t wait for my fourth! The owners are delightful, the breakfast is top tier, and the bedroom as well as the rest of the house are exquisite. Make sure to take time to sit on the beautiful porch.

If you're used to getting pampered by luxury hotels, I can definitely say Casa Alchimia will meet, if not exceed your expectations. It is a hidden gem amongst all the old and outdated properties in New England.
The hosts were so nice and accommodating to our family, and the breakfast was amazing. The location was excellent and great for walking into Freeport.
We will definitely be staying here again in all of our future stays in Freeport.

Absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast. The inn was exceptionally Clean, decorated beautifully, smelled wonderful and it felt like our home for the duration of our stay. The hosts were the most pleasant, kind and thoughtful people I have ever encountered. The italian style breakfast was delicious and more then enough to satisfy us for hours. I only hope I will have the opportunity to visit Freeport again if for nothing else then to stay at Casa Alchimia.

Wonderful stay! The breakfast was amazing: homemade cakes, fresh fruit, delicious eggs. The space itself is beautiful. I loved reading out on the deck and balcony. The room was very comfortable and perfectly clean. The hosts/owners are absolutely lovely.

Beautiful property with perfectly curated decor and art. The property was conveniently located near Freeport, well within walking distance of restaurants and shops. I appreciated the parking available to guests and the grounds were just exceptional. The owners were so very kind and accommodating. The breakfast prepared by the owners each day was exceptional!

This is an amazing place which somehow provides the modern finishings/amenities of a high-end hotel without losing the rustic charms of a classic Maine B&B. The hosts are absolutely wonderful people who made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond throughout our stay, even insisting they provide us with breakfast outside of their usual hours just to accommodate our early departure time... and their very friendly dog, Perla, is also a huge bonus :)
Just a wonderful experience and weekend... we hope to return again in the future!

Casa Alchimia is an absolute gem located on Main St. close to downtown Freeport. Hosts Monica and Giampiero bring the best of Italian hospitality, amenities, decor and cuisine. Their warmth and attention to detail sets a new standard for hospitality in Maine. I recommend Casa Alchimia without reservation for individuals, couples and special events. The property would be absolutely beautiful as a wedding venue. I was traveling on my own, but look forward to returning with my husband sometime soon!
I cannot think of any way to improve my experience at Casa Alchimia. It is a walk up property, so it may not be the best location for individuals with limited mobility.

The whole experience was perfect. They take very good care of you and the establishment. The rooms are very comfortable ,modern and clean. The breakfast in the morning was superb. I can't say enough of the owners just wonder people. Definitely recommend them if your in the area.
