The most beautiful accommodation with the best host. The room was amazing, but the hospitality of the host was everything.

They serve you breakfast in the morning at your room, which is kind.
Decorations in our room was amazing.
View from the roof unbelievable.
No hot water.
No windows.
Pigeon traces in many corners.
Electrical stops from time to time.
Very very dirty carpets (or at least they looked like that).
Very very dirty pillows (and they were actually dirty).
In general, we do not understand how it is possible that this place is so highly rated. It is absolutely true that the price is very cheap, the owners are very kind and sympathetic, and that you smell history everywhere. But that smell sometimes can be too strong and you need to be well prepared before entering this place for sleeping, and not just for wondering "how once they used to live".

Lovely traditional property - feels like stepping back in time.
Family are very proud of their home and its history and want to share this with guests. Also very friendly and helpful with anything you need - they booked me a tuktuk and walked me to meet it for my late night train.
Low water pressure, very basic bathroom (part of the stepping back in time, I guess).
In April, it was too hot without ac though their was a nice breeze in the evening/overnight

Great and unique place to sleep in Jaisalmer. The family running the accommodation are lovely. super clean and very good located inside of the fort. the best accommodation of all our north indian trip! 100% recomendable.

location is amazing right in center of fort next to Jain temple. staff is family owned and we’re very helpful in making my trip memorable. also set me up with transportation and camel safari which is a big assist. my room made me feel like a king as it has a a royal vibe with its decor and it’s antique like structure. 500 years old and still well kept.
there were some ticks/grass hoppers present once I changed my room. the beds weren’t the most comfortable but I’m grasping at straws here.

We are so glad we found this spectacular accommodation inside the fort with a 500 yr old room reminiscent of the old Maharaja days and our homestay hosts made us feel part of the family going out of their way to fulfil our every need and their information gave us knowledge and understanding of their way of life. We gave them the choice of serving us the same food the family are and it was always delicious. Our stay was wonderful giving us the feeling of having gained an Indian family.
It was all great.

Everything about this place is amazing, there simply is no better place to stay in Jaisalmer.

The haveli was absolutely beautiful. It was such a special place to stay in.
There was only a fan during a very hot period and I wished there would have been AC. It was very hot and it was hard to sleep. That being said, I think AC would have taken away from the magic of the place.

A bit maintenance require for ceiling.

Magnificent and beautiful ancient haveli, located inside the fort, very friendly host, warm welcome. Also possible to arrange a camel safari.

Really nice haveli with very big rooms in the fort on the hills, the hosts organised our camel tour and guided tour through the city - both were really nice. Great value for money.

The room was good and clean, location is inside the. Jaisalmer fort, it's an heritage haveli homestay.
Host was exceptionally kind and helpful.
We suggested for adding hot kettle in the room since the temp goes upto 8 degree.

The room at the haveli is like entering a another world. It is an extraordinarily beautiful space with carved walls, ancient doors and beams. My room had a huge ante room in which we staged a musical event one night.

The location is amazing. But more than that, the history in the building is beyond words. You have to stay to experience the architecture as well as the aura in the building. It is 500 years old! The service in the hostel is also very good. We did 1N camel tour with them and we really loved it.

Stay was great. Living in a fort with all proper facilities provided was great experience. Staff were very nice and polite. Location is also good. Room was also great at good price.

It's an old haveli that you can live in, and not just tour. So you get to experience an older timeline - the life of old. It's been kept more or less the same with minimum changes. The rooms are suites and are huge with so many cubby holes and old age charm and graffiti. The family is very sweet and accommodating.
But has its downsides - limited modern day amenities, and some common things in our modern homes. No air conditioning, or comfortable sofas, smaller windows, occasional lizards, No huge mirrors in toilets etc etc. Could be a lot cleaner even with its old furniture but given the size of the suites, and inexpensive fares this would be difficult. They should hike the prices and ensure greater cleaning.

Location. Uncle's stories.
This one is really old. Lots of dust here and there. Everything is very fragile.

Exceptional opportunity to live in a real historical haveli, which has not been refurbished for tourists' taste! Owner and staff alike are really helpful.
The stay would be more comfortable would the rooftop be equipped - but I guess it is also the price to pay if you want to enjoy an experience in a true haveli.

A fantastic place, original, charming, rustic, situated inside the fort in 500 years old haveli. A bit cold in January at nighttime, but they offered plenty of blankets and plenty of hot water in the tubes. Nice beds. Difficult to reach the wifi from the room, it was possible from the roof terrace where you'll get wonderful breakfast in the morning sun. Nice people. Incredible to live inside the fort. It is an adventure. Go to Jaisalmer when in India!
You get what you pay for! At this price no luxury but great experiences

Incredible hotel! Maybe the most beautiful I ve never been! Extra location, clean, very professional and...the room is just a palace old of 500 years! With a wonderful view to Jaisalmer (the balcony is set in the fort itself!) Just amazing
Everything was extraordinary!

Fabulous original Haveli run by extremely friendly Harshad and his family; they were extreme helpful and hospitable; booked us for a camel safari, quite literally on our own on the edge of the sand desert with no one else around! Fantastic!
Extremely warm at night even though there are ceiling fans (no AC); must, must, must leave the windows open at night to catch the cooler breeze into the bedroom! We did that the second night!
