Location.

We reserved for three people, they gave us only two towels when we asked for the other one they told us that it could not be possible because the towels were dirty and we had to wait until the next day 🤷🏻‍♂️. Very difficult to use the parking and is only for four cars. No bedside table so people have to put their personal items on the floor.

Location is good, 6 blocks to ADO central. Bed very clean and nice sheets, shower cold

The corners of every room and corridors was very dusty( sloppy housekeeping) with deep dust in corners. Each room needs a monthly complete clean. I had to make my own coffee at front desk plus no leche at all. Cold showers

bathroom was dirty and smelt bad, loud generator outside windows, no curtains at the window and a bright light outside which was on all night

Hotel Margarita is the epitome of faded grandeur and character. It is very low priced and everything was clean and tidy in our room. We were surprised to have a tv in the room and wifi offered, although the wifi did keep cutting out. The reception area was colourful and characterful and we couldn't care less about cold showers or basic coffee facilties, etc. The plants and flowers everywhere in the open topped hallways made the place beautiful. We had everything we needed and we loved the stay. The owner was friendly and kind when I spoke to him in my stunted Spanish as he spoke no English. The free parking felt secure and was next to the hotel. They let us leave our car there for a few hours after check out. Plaza Grande is a three minute walk away, the location couldn't have been better. Brilliant budget stay. Highly recommended.

This place is five minutes from downtown or called Plaza Grande. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a special price if one stayed more than five days. As my wife and I had dental work done,on the same street, we couldn’t ask for more. Dentists in Merida are great.

A little smelly when it rains. But that was one or two days.

The staff is very kind and attentive the location is perfect to visit the centre Bed was very comfy and clean

Location and parking so I slept in the car because the room Stinky mold

Room is tiny with no window and all hotel smells on mold. I was chocking and couldn’t sleep so I went in my car that was much more comfortable then room I paid. Bathroom is Dirty and small also without window and you can see mold around. Photos I posted here are real pictures of hotel and not one that you see in hotel advertisement .

No lights in the bathroom, toilet was dirty, sheets were dirty, everything stings. I want my money back
