The pool is refreshing and the man there is very kind and will promptly come sweep the leaves out which was so kind. The lounge chairs however are so dirty.
I have no idea what could make this a 5 star. The photos are so unrealistic; this hotel is very old and run down, the rooms feel so uneasy and cheap.
Staff will not provide more than 1 towel per person even when asked, not even a hand towel for washing your hands. AC is way too loud to have one but otherwise rooms overheat greatly. It’s very loud as you can hear both other guests and street noise at all times so forget a good nights sleep here.
It’s a cheap stay so you pay for what you get, but this place is honestly not at all worth it.

Tiene fuga en todas las llaves de agua, lavabo y regadera y una fuga en el cuarto del piso de arriba ya que escurre agua en el baño de la habitación 204, también la base de la cama junto a la ventana está muy floja, se mueve

La ubicación muy bien. la gente del hotel muy amable y todo lo solicitado se atendió. no siempre con rapidez, pero si con amabilidad y seguimiento. El restaurante, tiendas y tours junto al hotel super bien. si volveré pero dudo repetir en este hotel!
El Hotel no puede considerarse de 5 estrellas ya que por el costo (comparado con otros hoteles de 4-5 estrellas) es alto, no incluye desayuno y las imagenes para habitación estandar-doble están MUY lejos de la realidad. Esto es, lo que promueven por la web de booking y como está el mobiliario de la habitación ya que es algo viejo, pero el baño super desgastado y anticuado, no hay para poner cepillos de dientes, ni hay pañuelos desechables o tapete plástico para el interior de la tina (me confirmaron que no lo manejan en el hotel), lo cual es peligroso. No salía agua caliente el día de mi llegada y hasta un día después lo solucionaron. el WIFI se perdía con cierta frecuencia (en el último piso) y el último día no hubo si quiera en la habitación.

Hotel is in a good location
The hotel is extremely outdated and old. Amenities that are listed on booking (for example a safe in the room) are not available. The air conditioning is very loud and cannot be used at night unless you are a heavy sleeper.

Moesten na inchecken nog een uur wachten tot de kamer gereed was. Kakkerlakken. Installaties van de kamer waren oud, de kraan zat los en airco maakte veel geluid. Geen ontbijt mogelijk, wel het naastgelegen restaurant. Slechte wifi op de kamer.

The location is very good, in the old town center. 3 minutes walk to the main square. The room is clean and tidy. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel is good.
The TV did not work, but it was okay.

So many things to say, but the reception staff is the worst...

Very big room. It has AC in it, which made our lifes much better as it's very warm and humid there. We were provided with two water bottles for free every day. Reception helped us when a tour we had booked got cancelled, and also to book a taxi to the airport.
The shower head is fixed and quite low.

Booking response, Location, and Staff all solid 10s. Cleanliness a 9. Hotel common areas are charming.
Air conditioning and bathroom faded and need updating or at the minimum maintenance to replace damaged tiles, fixtures and fittings. This is not a quiet hotel, all activity from outside and inside are clearly heard if you are a light sleeper.
