Paulo, le propriétaire était présent à notre arrivée ainsi qu'à notre départ, ce qui a facilité la remise des clés du logement. Il a été très arrangeant quand à nos bagages le jour du départ et de bon conseil pour le transport jusqu'à l'aéroport Gatwick. Nous étions 3 adultes plus 2 adolescents et avons logé 4 nuits dans l'appartement N°1 au 1er étage du N°170 upper street, Islington -London. Le logement est composé de 2 chambres (1 lit double et 1 lit simple, tous deux comfortables) avec un canapé convertible dans le salon. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec four, cuisinière, micro-ondes, cafetière Nespresso, grille-pain, bouilloire, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge et sèche-linge. La salle de bain comprend une baignoire, un lavabo, un sèche-cheveux et un wc. La literie, tapis de salle de bain, serviettes de toilettes, torchons sont fournis ainsi que les produits ménagers. Comme le logement est bien équipé et chauffé, on peut partir avec le minimum d'affaires dans sa valise et faire une lessive sur place.
Appartement très bien situé (en zone 2) à 1,5 km ou 20 minutes en transport en commun du centre ville (en zone 1). Avant de partir, il faut commander la carte Oyester Visitor à 7£ pour visiter les zones 1 et 2 en illimitées avec le forfait de 8£/jour via le métro à 8 minutes ou l'arrêt de bus à 15 mètres (lignes n°30, 43, 4...) du logement. Il y a plein de bons restaurants dans la rue (le propriétaire a fait un guide des bonnes adresses autour de l'appartement). Nous vous recommandons le restaurant "314 kitchen & bar" rue St Paul's road à 10 minutes à pied de l'appartement: très bonne cuisine méditerranéenne et excellent burger maison ainsi que de succulentes pâtes aux truffes! Voyage inoubliable, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour terminer de visiter les derniers musées (ne pas oublier de réserver les places à l'avance même lorsque c'est gratuit). Enjoy London!
2 mois et demi après mon séjour, je viens seulement de récupérer ma caution de 200£ !!! ... qui aurait dû être reversée sur mon compte Paypal la semaine suivant la location car nous avions fait tout le ménage avant de quitter l'appartement. Depuis notre départ de la location, plus aucune nouvelles de Paulo... Il aura fallu plusieurs appels et messages Whatapp, des mails auprès de Booking et de Paulo, des demandes de paiement auprès PayPal... Compliqué pour une fin de vacances!🙁

The owner has lied to us and to Booking.com
He cancelled our check-in over the phone just right before we were supposed to come.
To Booking.com, he said he gave us an alternative accommodation, which was not true.
I am not sure if this was a fraud or very inappropriate person. We did not get money back. We had to book another hotel.

Location good. Self catering apartment.
Balcony advertised and paid for. But no balcony at apartment. Host contacted on arrival regarding no balcony. No explaination given by host as to why no balcony at the apartment, as was advertised. No compensation offered by host for lack of balcony. And host refused requests to deal with this issue during our four night stay.
Prior to arrival we paid 200.00 pounds for a security deposit. As of today 7 weeks on from our return home, having left the apartment in the same condition we found it in, no refund of deposit. Host initially gave dates for its return but then refused to respond to our messages. We had no option but to contact Booking.com in order to try to get our money back. Booking.com staff made a number of attempts to contact and speak to the host but to no avail. The matter remains with Booking.com. Host, Paulo Sacramento friendly up to our arrival but became very difficult to deal with when issue of balcony arose, or return of security deposit. He has refused to communicate with us or with Booking.com

For us it was close to where our son lived and near shops so we good get things we needed.
There was no welcome pack. After a long flight and drive I think it would have been nice to have a small welcome pack, eg tea/coffee and some milk just so as soon as a guest arrives they can refresh with a cup of tea before having to find the nearest supermarket!

Amazing location, well served by many restaurants and supermarkets and less than 10 minutes from the Underground. Great for a family.
There was a delay with the check in due to events outside of the host's control, but he was always courteous and communicative and kept us well informed, and the situation was sorted out ASAP.

Owner tried throw us out of the property to make way for other guests that were staying longer AFTER receiving our payment.
Furthermore he is not available when trying to contact him. Phone doesnt go through and watsapp shows one tick all the time. Only responds to watsapp hours later.
Second bedroom is horrible. Very uncomfortable and small bed. Shower pressure is low. Cleaner only comes before and after stay - not during.
Pictures on the app are misleading. Overall definitely NOT worth the price.

Nothing -we arrived on Friday at 6pm after the money being paid to booking.com to find that the host wasn’t answering his phone. After a few calls we went, with 2x children, to get food and await a call, nothing came, called booking.com who advised the property was unavailable! They advised they’d get back to us, they didn’t we had to make alternative arrangement at our own additional cost, time and inconvenience! We raised via 2 x calls to booking.com who said they would help, they didn’t and no further contact from booking.com.
Raised a complaint with them as discussed by service!!!

the staff was great at the beginning, they help me out getting there and keep in contact with me the entire trip. however! after we left i did not received my deposit back even thought I cleared the property and did all the requirements asked of me when leaving. I reached out and was told that it would get taken care of. Now after a month I still haven’t received it and the property will no longer reply to my messages.

Everything. Do not stay here, the whole Apartment is filthy, Especially the Bathroom.I felt less clean coming out of there🙄 the pressure on the Shower is none existent. Paulo the owner is disingenuous, he asks not to comment on Booking. Com so he can carry on ripping people off. I paid nearly £700 for 4 nights and an extra damage deposit of £150. I mean what a cheek charging a damage deposit when the place is falling apart( had trouble getting that refunded) . I had to leave early and go and stay in a hotel. Paulo said he would refund the money back for the nights I didn't stay. No surprise to me he hasn't as yet (5 weeks later) Invest in this property Paulo and do a Refurbishment!!! You should be ashamed of yourself. The TV doesn't even work and the garden is disgusting. If you stay believe me you will leave feeling very disappointed and shortchanged as have I.

Paulo is a great host. Due to last minute problems with the apartment, he arranged a excellent alternative, making sure we get what we want, and was extremely helpful.
