My daughter and I stayed in this property and just loved it. The decor is amazing. It’s a great neighborhood. Close to everything. The property manager was extremely friendly. Everything was clean and perfect. All the amenities were spot on. We hope to visit again.

Elena and Justin were so accommodating and helpful! The house is clean and well-decorated -- truly a Blast from the Past that we enjoyed! There was a surprise ice storm during our stay and the property was iced and we felt safe. They were accommodating to our extended stay request, and it is so appreciated that they do ALL of the cleaning!! I would recommend this spot to other visitors of Springfield!

This is a fun 1960's house. We loved all the fun things to look at and I couldn't believe how clean you kept all that! The space was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked big breakfasts every morning and the pots, pans, utensils and dishes were top quality. I am dismayed that for some reason I am unable to give all 5 star reviews. I keep clicking all the stars and they keep unclicking themselves.

It's hard to describe the attention to detail in this incredibly cool space. It was so well done in 70's decor and seemingly every spec of it was fashioned from this era. It was a big space, ample room, and very comfortable. It was also spotless and just had a great feel to it. We loved our time there. The location was amazing, on a nice quiet street very close to the Lincoln museum and other attractions.

It was like stepping back to the 70s Cozy and tastefully decorated. The house was located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to everything. They have a immense library of DVD, videos and just any game you may want to play. I would definitely recommend this location

The house was clean, comfortable, and amazingly decorated. It was also less than a ten minute drive from everything we wanted to see in town. We loved all of the little touches in every room and enjoyed the vintage video games. Our whole group agreed that we’d happily stay here again.

We had a blast staying at this property, which was obviously well cared for and wonderfully decorated. It was fun to enjoy all the 1970s touches and decor -- many of which I remember from my youth! The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything; the rooms comfortable and very, very clean. I absolutely recommend. Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

Inside was awesome

This is the second time my sister and I have stayed here. It is convenient for us meeting from two different states. It's convenient to the Lincoln tourist attractions. It's an easy part of town to get around in. Feels safe to take a walk in the neighborhood. The hosts are wonderful to work with on anything!

This was just as advertised, clean and comfortable. Only thing not 5 stars would be no cable TV. Otherwise, perfect location and rental!

We enjoyed our stay at the adorable 70s styled home. It was really fun to look everywhere and see your collection! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spotless, towels big and fluffy, and plenty of coffee and creamer. I would encourage you to update the exterior photo. It didn't look right when we drove by and went by a few more times until we did see it was the purple house.

This was an 80s style 2 bedroom masterpiece... I grew up in the 80s and they had ao many things that reminded me of my childhood that it was uncanny... So, of course I watched "Stranger Things" on Netflix while Inwas there and a few episodes of "Happy Days", haha... It was a great 6 night stay for a trampoline competition downtown... only about 7 min from The BOS Center... Thanks for the memories...

This is the second VRBO that I have stayed in ( the first one was in my home state of MN), this was my friends first time in a VRBO! The owners were so helpful with a few things, recommending a close restaurant.,. When asked about a toaster, she said she would clean a toaster oven and bring it over. About a half hour later there was a knock on the door and new toaster greeted us. That's definitely great customer service! The area was close to everthing we wanted to see. We felt very safe there, especially not knowing anything about the area. We were so happy that we chose this blast from the past. Some of the decor I remembered from my family home growing up in the late 60's and 70's! If we're ever in the area again we will only stay in the blast from the past. Thank you for being part of our adventure in Springfield IL.

The property was cleaned and our stay was fun. If you are looking for a 1970s time capsule this is your place to stay. We enjoyed looking at all the things we had in the 70s. It brought back lots of memories. Location was good and we would stay there again.

Had a great stay. Safe neighborhood. Unit is nicely appointed. Owner very attentive to anything we requested. Would definitely stay here again if in Springfield.

We had a very interesting stay on this uniquely retro residence. What a fun place to stay.

We enjoyed the retro aspects of the house from the 70’s, however a little larger tv would be nice. There appears to be a lot of work going on in the yard.

We arrived after 4:00 PM and could not enter this VRBO unit. We called the phone number provided to us, did not get an answer, and could not even leave a voice mail message, as the mailbox was full. We left and while on our way to other lodging, an Owner called us. She indicated they had given us old instructions and asked us to return. We informed them we had moved on. We were on our way to other lodging. When we returned from our trip, we learned the Owners had not voluntarily returned our money. We contacted them and they continue to refuse to return our money. The Owners must believe we are too old to have used our phone to make other lodging arrangements in the time before they contacted us, because they question same. The owner stated it was not unreasonable to have waited on them, even though we had no idea they would make contact since we could not leave a message. The Owners also have stated we should have knocked on at personal residence door, since we were told they lived next door. With no answer to their phone, we believed they were not home. The Owners’ actions are not customer focused. We should not have had the problem of not being able to gain entry. We should not have been made to feel like we could not contact them with no answer or an ability to leave a voice mail. Trips are to be fun, and not a hassle. The owners continue to make it difficult by not voluntarily returning our money. They have indicated all further communication must go through VRBO.

We had a wonderful trip to Springfield. The home was a perfect spot after an Alice Cooper concert. Creatively decorated inside and out, the home was a blast to our past! Super clean and everything we needed. Would've loved to stay longer but reality was calling us home.
