Mountain and Water Views at Rocky Mountain National Park Doorstep

My extended family and I stayed at Kat's place and everyone loved it! There was plenty of space for our group, which ranged in age from a toddler to my elderly parents. The kids loved playing and sleeping in the bunkhouse and everyone had a blast relaxing and eating dinner on the deck, which had a beautiful view. It was a quick drive to Grand Lake. We cooked all out meals at the house and found it well-stocked. There are also a lot of supplies for families with babies and toddlers. I would definitely stay here again!

The location of the home was perfect. We had 10 people in our group. There was tons of room for everyone. Free internet, tv (with all streaming services). We loved sitting around the gas fireplace out back on the deck. The kids loved the Bunkhouse. We brought our pontoon boat, there was ample parking in the driveway. The kitchen was fully stocked: crockpot, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. Everyone in our group had an amazing time. Communication with owner was top notch! Thank you to Kat and family for letting us stay in your home, so we can continue to make memories with our friends and family. We'd love to stay here again and cannot recommend it enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Grand Lake. Our cabin, Eagle Landing, was nearly perfect. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a great location. Kat did a terrific job answering all questions before and after our check in.

Property is well kept, beautifully updated & decorated and exactly as stated. Ample & spacious rooms, well tooled kitchen, comfortable and cozy beds and furniture. Plenty of off road parking. The views from the house and deck are stunning. The area was perfect for seeing wildlife such as moose and elk. Literally at the doorstep of Rocky Mountain National. Would highly recommend this property! We had an amazing stay!

Oh my goodness. I can not say enough good about this place and the people that own it. The home is beautiful, so warm and it felt like home. The views are spectacular! We had moose close by. They responded very quick to any questions. I feel like we could be good friends they were so nice. They even had a welcome gift for us. Would definitely stay here again!!! Exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at Eagle Landing with a friends group on our trip to Grand Lake over Christmas 2022. There were three families and kids ranging from 9 to 21. The house had ample room for each family group to have some privacy but big enough common space for us all to be together, too. The house was better than described in the listing. Kat had it decorated for Christmas! The view was postcard picture perfect. 100% recommend this house! We can’t wait to go back again!

We live in the community and needed more space for hosting Thanksgiving. This house was perfect. Loved that bedrooms were across 3 floors and above garage so family could be together but have privacy. The kitchen was well stocked. And the views from the dining room and deck were outstanding. Our family was so impressed. Lovely memories were made. I’d definitely recommend to anyone.

A wonderful week with 3 adult kids, in-laws and my brother. The house provided space to gather and spaces to separate. We all had a great time. Loved the deck and fire pit. Great proximity to Rocky Mountain NP as well as Grand Lake Village. It was a vacation for the history books.

We booked this property for a family vacation. We had groups traveling here from across the country and were so pleased with how many amenities Kat provided. Our group had several small children and the deck area was a perfect gathering area for our entire group to spend time together. The house has an amazing view, and there is ample indoor and outdoor seating for large groups meals. Kat was a phenomenal host. She was easy to contact, and provided helpful information about the house and the surrounding area which made planning our vacation much easier! Hoping we can make it back for another stay!

Views + Value
Good value property with views. Few things were broken upon arrival but the host was very quick and responsive to take care of it. Cleanliness could be improved upon. Opened/used water bottle by bedside table, golf ball found in a bed, and main floor bathroom floors/floorboard covered in hair.

Perfect Layout for Families
Eagle's Landing was super clean and the kitchen was well stocked with the tools we needed to prepare meals for our large group. Our group consisted of 7 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 9-14. The kids LOVED the bunkhouse and we loved that they had their own space. The deck connecting the main house and bunkhouse was the perfect hangout for morning coffee, lunch, dinner and social gathering. Our families came in from Iowa and Texas to celebrate a family wedding and I couldn't be more pleased with this cabin. Kat is amazing to work with and stayed in contact with me before, during and after our stay. On the day of checkout, I contacted her for more garbage bags and her neighbor was over promptly to accommodate. I was looking for another property close to hers to accommodate 5 more family members, she was able to provide some homes and we ended up with cabins 400 feet apart. It was perfect! We love Grand Lake and will definitely consider Kat's cabin for future stays.

This was a great house for our family of 6. The view is great, the deck is fantastic for little kids because you can keep them safe, and you can’t beat the location and quiet of Columbine Lake. The best part was probably Kat though. She met us at the house, was attentive throughout our stay and even had a bottle of champagne for us as we checked in on our anniversary. Amazing host and we’ll be renting again from her.

Our family has been visiting Grand Lake for several years and we have stayed in multiple cabins. We have always had a great experience but I must say this was our best experience. The cabin was perfect for our multiple families. The cabin was incredibly well appointed. Even with our larger group we had plenty of room. The cabins interior was amazing with great views of Columbine lake and the mountain range above Grand Lake. The cabin felt isolated and private while still providing easy access to RMNP and Grand Lake. The outdoors areas were just as good with a very large deck and incredible views. The bunk house was spacious and great for the kids, giving everyone their own space. The fire pit was just as nice. Also, there was plenty of wildlife around the cabin as we saw multiple deer and a large bull moose. Kat was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. She also checked in to make sure our stay was going well. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked our next years trip as soon as we got home.To sum it up this cabin will exceed your expectations...

Family Gathering
Kat did a wonderful job helping us prepare for our stay at her lodge. It is everything you can want. Great location. Beautiful inside and out. We saw the resident fox our first day checking in, moose on a hike and elk in Rocky Mountain National Park. We felt right at home here. Our party of 11, 6 adults and 5 kiddos loved having our own spaces, but the outdoor firepit at night was the best. Thank you Kat.

Perfect for Family Getaway
This home was perfect for our family. The layout of the house allows multiple couples to have separate rooms. There is a separate bunkhouse and two living rooms in the main house as well. The fire pit was great and our kids loved roasting marshmallows. One couple even saw a moose while on a walk around the lake. 5 minutes into Rocky Mountain National Park and 5 minutes into Grand Lake if you want to walk around town. Owners were very responsive and sent all the information we could need for our stay. Hopefully we'll be back soon.

Beautiful home in Grand Lake
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was roomy and comfortable. The boys loved the privacy of the bunk room! The views from the deck were amazing. We’ve considered coming back in the summer. The house had everything we needed and the coffee and hot chocolate the host left for us was the finishing touch.
