Internet wifi could be better

The hotel is convenient to the beach, the main touristic areas of coffee shops and restuarants and shops, as well as at the cycle paths and walking paths, around the lagoons and to the beach. Easy to find from toll roads between Porto and Lisbon. Clean, attractive, well-maintained. Room size is good, bed very comfortable with a mattress topper and enough blankets (it was raining and cooler during my visit), cupboard space is generous, bathroom is older but immaculate and lots of hot water. The lift is really fast, and the view from the Quarto Duplo Superior is great - over the lagoon, and to the beach, and of the sunset. Breakfast was generous, staff were kind and helpful in check-in, and breakfast, desk is manned till late (so good if you're travelling alone). I had a very comfortable and relaxed visit and will be coming back

Room cooling - there was a unit on the wall that looked like AC however it turned out to be a heater with a very weak fan function (not great in this heat and why the room didn't meet my expectations) These aren't major issues nor did we complain: Drinks machine wouldn't accept money - we arrived late and while they are many local shops, there weren't any open. Rooms could do with some love/attention: The shower curtain rail looked like it was going to fall/slanted (looked poorly fit) Wooden furniture in the room looked worn - could use some wood polish
