Hotel was compact and cosy. Rooms was of a high spec standard. Pool was very relaxing.
Steam room was out of order but no signage was in place.

This is not what would be expected from a 4* hotel! Awful limited restaurant, poor wine list and breakfast absolutely dire.

Very conveniently situated for us. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us.

Everything , great location good facilities

The breakfast was very nice! The room was immaculate and we loved the shower!
Paying for parking was not great as you are paying a fair amount to stay at the hotel as it is so parking costs ontop seems quite unreasonable.
4.3
The decor, staff and rooms were lovely. The cafe is great value.
The pool area needs dedicated changing space.
4.3
Really nice stay, comfortable spacious room and a delicious breakfast! We also loved the pool.
Parking was quite expensive and the service in the cafe was quite slow, but nothing too major.
4.3
The wellness area is really good! They have a small swimming pool with Jacuzzi and Sauna. Unfortunately, the steam room is not working when we were there. The overall atmosphere is luxurious. The city centre is also walking distance, so that was great. You can walk by the river to the city centre in approx. 15 minutes. The staff were extremely helpful and we absolutely enjoyed our weekend.
Unfortunately, the breakfast were very limited. There weren't many options for breakfast at all and it looks like they start packing up approx. around 10am even though breakfast ends at 10:30am. Also, check in was at 16:00 which was new to me, we hadn't seen such late check-in and check-out is at 11am.

We asked for a gluten free breakfast - expecting to just get GF bread/toast - not only did we get this, but the server selected the cooked breakfast buffet items from the kitchen rather than the public buffet, just in case other clients had cross contaminated the food! Lovely lovely people there. Facilities and rooms outstanding.
Rate and parking quite expensive, even for Cambridge.

Lovely hotel in a great location as it was only a short Uber ride away from Cambridge center, where we did lots of sight seeing. Me and my best friend came for a girly pamper weekend away for my daughter's 5th birthday and the room was great size for 2 adults and a child, with a double bed and large sofa bed. Daughter absolutely loved the pool and there was plenty of time for her to get her use of it within the child allocated time slot. Breakfast was very nice, with good variety.

4.3
Really nice location 10 minutes walk down the canal from Cambridge centre. We got a complimentary breakfast which was very good quality.
We also enjoyed the pool/steam/sauna and gym which were all clean and kept to a high standard.
Not much! It's a Hilton curio collection hotel and has that feeling to it but that's not necessarily a bad thing!
4.3
pleasant atmosphere . good food and restaurant fact;ities
car park fees rather high
4.3
Friendly staff, lovely rooms and hotel facilities, delicious breakfast, handy car park and great location at easy walking distance to centre.

Lovely staff. Good breakfast.

Everything
There’s no massage parlour, spa pool is very small
4.3
Everything was exceptional: rooms and common spaces are spacious, perfectly clean, and comfortbale, staff is extremely professional, attentive, and discrete. Everything is above average (except for the restaurant which is pretty good but not outstanding).
The swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath were great too, particularly with the family.
Very long time since we have been so satisfied with an hotel.
All good, if not outstanding
4.3
Breakfast was nice although an automatic offer to bring tea or coffee to you when you got to the breakfast room would have been far better. You had to help yourself from a machine, which resulted in a bit of a rugby scrum around a tight corner of the room.
The tea and coffee machine. Also, I couldn’t figure out the heating unit. It didn’t seem to respond to my commands, and I couldn’t get it to go below 19C at night.
4.3
Lovely room, on site parking with electric car chargers.
The choice of food on offer in the evening meal £20- deal, we had a choice of burgers, fish and chips or lasagne, felt this was the only negeative as it was in imaginative and not very healthy.
4.3
Beautiful property and well positioned. Lovely staff and excellent food.
The cleaning could be slightly better, the sliding doors to the bathroom and the surrounding area had not been cleaned (visible splash marks of some kind on them)
4.3
The underground car park was brilliant as was access to the hotel from the basement. The reception staff (namely Marc) were very impressive and exceptionally polite and helpful. I feel he is an asset to the hotel. The living room was great and the bedroom, though lacking a luggage rack and clothes drawers, the bed was perfect and very comfortable.
The toilet, shower and sink were all okay and clean on inspection.
The fridge, oven and dishwasher were very useful additions as well as cutlery. We did note there was only one bowl in the crockery cupboard.
The hotel bar was comfortable and reasonably priced. The café looked very nice and the cakes looked amazing. Generally, all the staff very pleasant and aesthetically, it was very impressive.
The car park was quite expensive (£24) for an overnight stay, taking advantage of the fact that no public car parks nearby.
Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the comfort of the sofa in the living room.
During breakfast, my partner had to wait 25 minutes for her poached eggs as hers had been given to someone else. I had eaten my breakfast by the time she had started hers. Unfortunately, when we complained to the server, he basically dismissed the oversight by saying it was busy and didn’t apologise until he discovered the eggs had indeed been given to someone else. We then had to rush to make check-out in time.

The room was very good with an extremely comfortable bed and excellent shower. The evening Valentines Menu was superb and staff were the perfect balance of discrete yet attentive. The staff were polite and helpful.
Some elements around communication around accessing room and breakfast arrangements could have been better and a guide to hotel facilities in the room would have been helpful.
4.3
Very spacious
quiet
friendly staff
lovely restaurant
It was stated as a fully facilitated kitchen.
No mini bar as per website
No trays to be able to cook in small oven.
Utensils in drawer were dirty
No tea towel, small bottle of washing up liquid or cleaning cloth (I have stayed in lower grade facilities and this is always provided)
Plenty of coffee no tea bags
payment taken twice for stay for stay.
apologies for list but I feel it’s helpful to note some of the concerns so changes can be made.
4.3
Disappointed with the whole experience.
Falsely stated there would be a balcony. There wasn't a balcony or even a window. The room got too hot.
Their tvs have their own operating system with restrictions, couldn't even have sound above 20 or use any useful streaming services. Only YouTube was downloaded and there was no way to download Netflix etc.
Paid £50 for breakfast for it to also be so basic and cheap. The tomatoes tasted like fish? The scrambled eggs were just milky and a bit repulsive
I paid the receptionist £50 in cash the night before for the breakfast to be prepaid.
In the morning the same receptionist said no payment was made for the breakfast.
They also repeatedly tried to take more money out of my account even though I had paid for everything in full.
All in all, a terrible valentines experience
Would not return if I was paid.

Modern, clean, comfortable, friendly hotel with parking and easy walk to Cambridge centre. Good to have kitchen facilities in the room and a restaurant and cafe in the hotel.
Washing up liquid and a tea towel in the room would have been helpful.

Nice and modern, also very clean/tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
