Missed breakfast

The light situation, air conditioner very noisey

The hotel was quite new and the design of the suite was very nice...everything in the right place...very clean and smelled good...but breakfast ended at 9 a..m. too soon..extend breakfast at least until 9.30 or 10 better..otherwise it was a good experience...and there was construction going on close to the hotel...

Breakfast ended at 9am..too early and there were no eggs or bacon...add some more stuff to the breakfast

Clean and comfy rooms.

The only thing that was a surprise is the 15 dollars a night to park. It may have been listed but…I didn’t read it. Lol.

Clean, big bathroom, high shower pressure, comfort bed and sofa.

I leave notes “ Pls help arrange a room on a higher floor away from noise. Thanks!“. But the front desk staff specifically assigned me a room on the 2nd floor where the construction noise was right in front of my window. The noise started in the early morning before 6am.

The eggs & potatoes were cold

The room layout was very well thought out. While it wasn't a huge room by sq. footage, it felt spacious in the layout. It was nice to have a microwave and mini-fridge, and the bathroom was very well done. While we only stayed two nights to attend an event at DPAC, this would have been a decent room for a work trip as well. The location of the hotel was optimal for anyone wanting to enjoy the attractions of downtown Durham, NC. We wanted to make a weekend of a show at the DPAC. The DPAC was within walking distance (about 1/4 mile), so we didn't have to worry about trying to find parking the night of the event. There are also lots of restaurants/bars within walking distance.

1) We stayed two nights and housekeeping never cleaned our room. For the price, our room should have been cleaned and made up on the second day we were there. 2) The bed was uncomfortable. It was lumpy and unsupportive. Neither of us slept well the two nights we were there. 3) While we knew ahead of time that parking wasn't included from reading on Booking.com that parking was extra $$, the check-in staff should have mentioned it during check-in.

After the rooms were priced ridiculously high due to the Savannah Bananas playing..we already were paying over $500 for ONE nights stay..then I’m charged an extra $10 to park in the parking lot..the beds were hard and uncomfortable and so was the pull out couch..we lost power so had no air and no lights during the end of stay in which we weren’t contacted or compensated..this made breakfast an issue as well..I do know it’s something they do extra but most ppl keep this in mind when reserving a stay..it was rather disappointing..we checked out early and left..
