loved the pool and the master shower bring your own chairs for outside. loves how close the house was to everything although the ac was kinda noisy. great house overall.

Went to visit family, nice place to stay as advertised. It was a little cool to in joy the pool, but that did not stop my 13 year old son. Great spot close to strip, beach, and food. American kitchen was a great place to have breakfast.

Good location to get to strand and beach. Neighborhood felt safe. Nice layout in house, beds and bedding could use some improvement. Backyard is fenced but all pool, cement and rocks so no where for dogs to poop, had to walk in front yard, but the park at the end of street was nice to walk dog to.

The house was just like the pictures online the front door was very sketchy was falling apart needs repair immediately …the pool area was nice for the price We would rent again

The house was beautiful and very spacious. There was an issue with the back door lock but i was resolved immediately. Me and my family had so much fun. We will definitely be renting this house again.

After we booked this property we were very concerned with the negative reviews that were left. We were in contact with the owners previous to our stay and they were very responsive and helpful. The pool was clean, it is an older pool, so it does have some tile issues, but it was perfect for us and the kids loved it! The rock wall addition to the pool was a huge hit for our boys! The house was clean. If you’re looking for a luxurious home, this one is not for you! If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, kids can swim, and you can hang around the tiki bar during the day, this is for you! It’s great location to the beach and Sea Wall BLVD. The ferry is also close if you wanted to hop on. We were very grateful for this property. We all agreed we would book this home again!

If I could get a refund plus a cleaning fee for everything I did that would make me feel like I didn't have all my money stolen. Master bathroom toilet was broken and we had to fix it, the bathroom wasn't clean. Blood on walls of master bathroom. Mold growing on ceiling, shower walls, curtain, and windows, trash on floor. Master bathroom sink clogged and would take 15min to drain. Main bathroom tub drain clogged. Black particles would come out of drain when water was in tub. Drain time was 60-75min for tub. Hide a bed was completely broken. It couldn't even close. When we arrived it was half way closed and the cushions were on the floor beside it. The mattress had yellow and orange stains and there was a large red/brown stain on the cushion. Dishwasher and refrigerator were both in need or repairs. They worked, but TLC needed. Every time I would use the oven the fire alarm would go off when the door was opened because of all the burned food at the bottom. Cigarette butts all over in the back yard. The pool chemical shed had the door broken off laying in yard and the chemicals were falling out onto the ground. The eating/bar area could not be used. It was full of broken pool supplies, trash, and random items. All the vents, intake and out, were full of dust. Floors were all dirty around the rooms and corners. There was a sticky pad in the laundry room that had a decaying lizard and mouse on it. I HAVE PICTURES OF ALL OF THIS! My 6yr old has cystic fibrosis. It's a terminal lung disease. It's hard enough to keep her healthy, and breathing without difficulty, without having to deal with unsanitary conditions like this. I spent a day cleaning just so we could stay there comfortably. I left it cleaner then when we arrived.

The interior of the home was very good and layout was convenient. There was a problem with one door lock, the beds were average at best, and there was a moldy shower curtain in one bathroom. Not enough toilet paper and a constantly running master bath toilet. The backyard was terrible, with a standing bucket of water to breed mosquitoes, trash and debris scattered about and worst of all not one blade of grass for our dogs. Not really pet friendly.

Loved the outside shower & pool, although water was cloudy. Location was perfect! Right off the Seawall and near public beaches. Beds were decent and walk-in shower was nice & big enough for 2 people! Smart TV was a nice addition and galley kitchen was roomy enough. Wet bar a nice amenity outdoors, but we didn’t use. Could use bigger trash can in kitchen, hooks for towels in bathrooms, and description listed beach towels which weren’t there. But there were boogie boards and pool floats. Overall, great place at a great price! Would definitely book again!

Not Vacasa's fault however..there were 10 of us for a girl's weekend , rented a hose w pool so we could survive Galveston heat and havexa great time. Pool was dirty, something was broken, we couldn't use it and it sucked. When Vacasa checked house prior to arrival someone should have looked at the pool. They didn't come check it till 2nd day, first offered is a $75 refund on $1200 2 night rental. Unacceptable..in the end $600 credit. Weekend ruined..homeowners should be held accountable. House should be removed from rentals.

The how is really welcoming, as you go in is looks clean . But I continue see pet hair everywhere I sweep the floor and it help . The kitchen need a little more stuff if yiu use the blander regularly you need to take one since there isn’t one there , also bowls for salad or topper( take some if you use this stuff) .The outside part need a little bit more care since there were a lot of pool inflatable items just there that wasn’t good a but of trash . Other than that the house is great , quite . I do recommend this house even all the thing I mentioned before is a really great house just take the items I mention and your staying will be fine

We love it. Only issue was the pool was not very clean. All of the nets to run over the leaves had holes in them. Buy some new ones and it will be great.

We reserved the house for 9 and it was listed in the reservation, when we arrived there were only 8 towels, 20 pillows (w/ no cases) and no extra sheets or blankets. For as much as the cleaning fee is, the place was terrible, trash all around the backyard and pool area, dust from floor to ceiling, every fan was caked with dust, dead flies smacked on the walls and weird substances dripping down. There were car fresheners hanging throughout the house and even the trash truck worker said the last tenants said the same thing! Didn’t notice until the last day but the front door, one of the panes was broken out and there were still shards of glass sticking out of the door, this could have really injured out children! The pool was great to have, it needs to be replastered as it looks dirty all the time and no lights at the Tiki Bar work. Overall I would stay here again due to the location and amenities if it was more taken care of, definitely was not worth what we paid for to stay.

Home was clean. Pool cleaners came to clean the pool and the yard was maintenance. Very nice stay we will return!

We really enjoyed the quite neighborhood. House was very inviting. Appreciated the extra towels and extra sheets just in case we needed them. The washer and dryer helped to not have our wet clothes sitting in our bags.

I picked this property for the pool and proximity to beach and popular island activities. Upon entering the home, we were met with an overall stale odor. I am not sure if it was since the home had not been used in a while or the air had been off, but you could tell something was off. In the kitchen there was an overwhelming smell of bleach, as if they were overcompensating for something. Upon inspection of the kitchen cabinets, we found a dead bug as well as one cabinet with spilled spices. There was remints of food splashed on all cabinets and floors. In addition, almost every single light fixture had some if not all light bulbs missing and/or not working. The home just needs some general TLC. Outside, there is literally 1 chair at the Tiki bar to sit in. All others are broken and not 1 single chair to sit around the pool with. Upon arrival, the hose was in the pool, and we weren't sure if we should remove it or not. In addition, one morning a man was just mysteriously walking around the back yard. we were not informed that anyone was coming to the property. I was there as a single mom with my 2 kids and their aunt. This was a bit scary for us. We found out that he was the pool man, but we would have liked to been informed of his visit. Overall, the property served its purpose. We were able to swim, visit all the places we wanted to see and enjoy our vacation. I did contact management and they did refund my cleaning deposit and send someone out immediately to address the light bulb situation. Property just could stand a deep cleaning and some overall touching up. Would possibly return if I knew these items were completed.

Nice spacious and clean home in a great location within a short drive to the Seawall. The pool is a very nice feature to to home. Bring mosquito spray if you plan to spend time a lot of time in the yard and enjoy the pool. Also, bring a blender and toaster if you plan to use these items. We had a great time. Thank you!

This is a beautiful place. This was the perfect house for a quick,quiet family get away. The house was clean and plenty of sleeping space. The pool was great with a nice outdoor shower! The location and neighborhood was wonderful. A great park not even a few steps away! Everything in Galveston was just an easy drive away! We had a great time! Will be back!

Would have been a+ if pool was working

Just what we were looking for pool was inviting. Tv was there for when it rained. Tiki bar was icing on the cake. Jake with vacasa was there to help when we had a little trouble with the ac. 10/10 will be returning.

Was an awesome home with more than enough room! Enjoyed the pool and back yard more than the beach. Clean and crisp. Super close to the sea wall & the ferry to Crystal beach! Will be back for sure!

Very cute and simple home, I do wish that maybe they would have invested in more comfortable mattresses and pillows, and maybe a blender. It was well stocked with utensils, plates, and pots to cook with, so over all only complaint was the comfort. The mosquitos are pretty bad by the pool as well
