Loved the property—had everything we needed for our short 2 night stay — adorable home in heart of OU

LOVED our stay in this beautiful home. Loved the updates to the 1930’s home and still keeping all the character. Check-in was easy, communication was good for most of the stay. Had a small concern and didn’t get an answer from the property manager before checkout but it all ended up good. Would definitely recommend this home & we would love to stay here again.

Wonderful holiday gathering spot

We were very excited to spend Thanksgiving weekend with our family in Norman, as our son is at OU and we were attending the game. Unfortunately this house left us scrambling on several fronts. There are several things a renter should be aware of when booking this house. The house is nearly 100 years old, which is fine and can be charming, but it has not been updated/kept up in several key areas despite the pictures. We arrived to a clogged sink in the kitchen, which made washing dishes impossible. They did not stock hot pads, dish soap or sponges/brushes. When we inquired we were told to go out and buy them and we would be reimbursed. This was over Thanksgiving mind you. The TV streaming was non-functional and would not stream a football game without constant buffering. We had to leave to go watch at the Noun hotel. A $20 firestick would have allowed us to steam from our phone but they didn’t have that either. The toilet seat upstairs is the small round size but sits on an oblong toilet. Sounds minor until you sit on it lol. The front door lock is hanging on by a thread - when locked and pushing on door to make sure it is locked, the door still opens enough that you can see into the main room. This door could be forced open and is a safety concern. There was an exposed and rusted outlet (no cover) in the bedroom that sparked when used to plug in a charger. I’m all for the charm of old homes, but this house has a long way to go for the game day prices they charged.

The location couldn't be better if your attending OU events. The house is updated and done extremely well. Many of the old items remain but add to the charm. Sleeping was very comfortable. Lots of places to talk with friends. More than expected with coffee accommodations. The living room couches could be upgraded but all in all very comfortable seating.

Perfect location and size for our family.

Had a great stay while getting our Sooner settled for another year. Great location close to OU and Campus Corner. The house is artfully decorated and properly amenitized. Comfortable beds/linens. Loved the quirks and character of house - old school charm, new school convenience. Loved walking to our favorite spots The Mont and Neighborhood JAM, and Benvenuti’s.

We truly enjoyed our stay. We went to Norman to attend our niece’s graduation. The home is exactly as advertised. Very clean. We loved the back porch with the hanging daybed. Living room furniture was very comfortable, kitchen had all the necessities. Location was convenient to campus with several restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again,

This home was perfect for our stay. You need to know that the floors are original, so expect them to creak when you walk up and down the stairs or back and forth to bathrooms while people are sleeping. For us, though, it’s part of the charm. We didn’t get to enjoy the screened in back porch because of the cold temps but on warmer days it’s a great space. The driveway is big enough for a couple of cars. The kitchen has a Keurig AND a traditional coffee maker. There was a hair dryer but we did not find an iron, so if you press your clothes you’ll need a travel iron. The location is perfect—just across one of our favorite spots, The Mont, and if you like walking instead of paying for parking, the walk to campus is completely doable. Overall great stay!

This house is darling, spacious, and in a perfect location. We could easily walk to The Mont, Campus Corner and the OU campus, even with 2 young kids. There was a cute coffee bar set up for us and some snacks. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed spending time on the screened-in porch! Would definitely stay here again.

Such a sweet house with tons of character. We were very comfortable here with our family of 7. Came for a college visit at OU and it was so easy to get to campus and back with plenty of places to eat nearby. Highly recommend and would rent again! Thank you!

Great house! Wish it had one King bed but house was very close to campus and a short walk to the football stadium. None of the baths are connected to any of the rooms but it worked out fine. Owners provided nice provisions in kitchen and baths and owner provided cell phone and was very responsive to any questions.

The home was in a great location and was clean and tidy. As it is a very old home it creaked a lot, the doors stuck, and the shower drain downstairs was clogged, but the beds were nice, the sheets and towels were fresh and new, and the coffee station was wonderful. David also was great to work with. We'd love to stay again.

The house was perfect for our family! It was in the perfect location, very clean, there were plenty of beds and enough space to enjoy each others company in both the living, dining room and patio. The hosts checked in on us every day and left plenty of toiletries and supplies to help make our stay perfect. We will definitely keep this house in mind for our next stay!

We loved this home! Very short walking distance to campus, the stadium, The Mont! Large home with plenty of space for a large group. Property owners seemed to genuinely care about our stay. The home itself is beautiful, clean, we loved all of the details you see in older homes that were built well.

This was the perfect location for our family gathering in Norman. The property manager was always responding quickly! Clean and pretty house! I definitely would go back!

Met some college friends to enjoy the Labor Day weekend and watch the opening game of the season. The property was fantastic! The location was fantastic! A short one-minute walk from The Mont and only a five minute walk to campus. Great overall experience. Highly recommend.

Beautiful windows. House is on a lovely street with beautiful restored homes. Pretty and comfortable bedding! Nice big dining table, perfect for family brunch and late night dominos.
