Nothing not to not like

Fantastic position close to town. Nice style. Comfortable. Nice little touches.

The shower is not in a great position and you lose all hot water if you have a bath. Neighbours property having work done on it so LOTS of drilling noises on a Saturday all day till about 5pm.

The cottage was well furnished and it looked like someone had taken a lot of care choosing nice decor and ornaments. If you like tv on holiday there was a flat screen tv in every room. The cottage was very close to shops and amenities in Barnard Castle and also the Bowes Museum. Kitchen was well equipped.

I didn't think the property was family friendly. The bedroom you would use for a child was on the 3rd floor and had an approximately 11 foot straight drop from the balustrade. Ended up sleeping in the living room as the bed and sofa bed in this room was too uncomfortable for my husband and I.

Good location for where we wanted to be. Within walking distance of most places. The place was clean and lots of little things to be welcoming and dog really enjoyed the jar of treats. Although we didn’t use things there was plenty coffee pods, teabags and other stuff which is not always the case in holiday properties

Had not realised it was on 3 levels and I should have checked first but we really needed a disabled parking place and a walk in shower.

The location was excellent, the property was fabulous with all the amenities we needed and more.

The cottage was excellent value very clean with a great location. We would definitely book again if we revisit Barnard Castle. Gea the host was perfect when answering any questions we asked and the instructions where the cottage was located etc were excellent.

We loved the quirkiness of the cottage and it was a great location. It was immaculately clean and well equipped. There was a handy car park opposite which cost £1.50 per day. would definitely stay again.

If we were staying longer maybe a microwave would be handy.

Lovely cottage, beautiful and stylish decor with everything needed for a short break away. Fabulous location, a few minutes from all attractions and beauty spots, with great bars and restaurants close by.

Pretty little cosy cottage and beautifully designed to work despite being very small, it had everything needed and more! The quality of furnishings/decor was great too, high quality products! Great central location for the town and walks!

Very noisy in the early morning with large lorry’s driving past as the cottage is facing the road.

The only downside was the noise from the traffic as the property is right on the road.

This cottage has everything you need and more for a relaxing and adventure. The area is a good base for exploring and there's nothing I could think of that would make the stay any better. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your comfy, cosy cottage 🥰

Exceptional,cosy,very dog friendly,Great location in centre of Barnard Castle, Everything you could want from a Holiday Cottage, Great Wi-Fi.Netflx and Amazon on T.V. Lots of little extra such as dog treats,bowls,even games and picnic stuff,and Umbrellas and walking canes..Super clean and tidy.. Very cheap parking just across the road,Will be having a return trip as soon as we can..

Sash window in bedroom was rattling loudly through the night in the wind. Also early morning wagons passing by this window were extremely loud and woke us up
