Very nice and kind host! Quiet and cozy place!

Excellent value for money

The room was warm, no way to control the heating but at least it wasn't cold at night. Bed sheets were clean, overall a decent bed.

The description said "private bathroom" which it does have, however it doesn't include a private shower. I found this quite misleading. The bidet had two taps, one for hot and one for cold, however, the water didn't mix and come out of a single spout, instead you had two. One for boiling hot water and one for cold. Booking.com said checkout time was at 12:00 but once we arrived there was a paper saying 11:00 checkout, misleading again. The owner knocked on the next door's room at 10:30 because he needed to fix something (we arrived late and were woken up by this). Once the owner realised there were still guests in the room he proceeded to talk (very loudly) with them. If checkout is at 11:00 (says 12:00...) no one should be knocking on the door before said time. Not only were we awoken by this but we'd also be extremely upset if it happened to us. At the very least apologize to the guests for the inconvenience and come back AFTER the checkout time, don't wake up the rest of the floor. Could do with better sound insulation. Toiletries were also said to be provided, however none were to be found in our bathroom. The dresser draws could have been cleaned out given there were dirty tissues inside two of them. This was booked very last minute and, unfortunately, was the only available option. For the price paid I wouldn't recommend it. Far better, more modern, more private rooms available in the area for the same price.

The shared bathroom was leaking, we tried to look for another pillow in the wardrobe and an horrible smell came up.

Super quaiet place to do Lisboa sightseeing. We spent 4 amazing days next to the capital of the sea :) In this house everything was ok
