Good, classic-style beach resort. All rooms face the beach, so you can sleep with ocean sounds. Comfortable room, pleasant beachside, and a nice onsen to complete.
The breakfast buffet is very hit-and-miss. The French restaurant is expensive and very low quality. The Japanese restaurant is good but costly for what it serves. It's the kind of hotel that knowingly uses the lack of convenience stores and restaurants nearby to jack up the prices, which is quite sketchy by today's omotenashi standards.

A acomodação é fantástica, pegamos a vista pro mar, e é maravilhoso.

The rooms have been spacious and clean. The breakfast selection was excellent. The staff have been very friendly and helpful.
The bar was closed, due to lack of man/female staff. Pool was only allowed to be used from 9:00 am onwards. Swimming in the pool in the early morning hours is forbidden. For all sun lounger an extra charge was asked for.

Dinner was very delicious .
The room was very clean however chair and sofa in the room was dirty and smelled badly . There were some stains on the wall which made bad impresion. It was my second stay in this hotel. The first stay was perfect.
4.3
Breakfast and dinner was very good, location, especially in front of the sea was fantastic!
I liked everything.
4.3
All the rooms face the ocean and I was on the 6th floor, so the view was spectacular.
Pretty much none of the staff speaks a second language, the moment there is a problem it becomes very difficult to communicate.

- good location
- close to thr beach
- staffs are great and helpful
- very good breakfast
4.3
Very nice sea views and garden . Spacious room . Staff are attentive and professional.
Breakfast is good! Located 5-min drive distance from Kawazu station. The hotel shuttle bus frequencies is good and make commuting between hotel and station very convenient.
The hotel even provides shuttle service for night sakura viewing during the Kawazu sakura festive season .
Limited capacity for its in-house restaurants.
4.3
Located walkable distance from Kawazu station.
Great sea view. Pretty decent breakfast spread(mainly Japanese food though so if your preferred choice is western the options are basic and limited)
Had the largest bathtub out of all the hotels I’ve stayed!
Not much food choices open at night so you might need to eat at the hotel which choices are also pretty limited. reservation needs to be made early or during check in for space.
4.3
Great location and views. Excellent onsen. Breakfast buffet. Good size room. Comfortable beds.
Nothing. It was all good.

the food menu! we just thought it should have been better!
4.3
nice hot spring, spacious and clean room, nice staff, nice location, food is also good
the fridge keeps having sound over the night, makes me can’t sleep very well
4.3
The property was right in front of the beach and was great to relax at.
some of the upholstery was stained and old.
4.3
The hotel is stone throw away from Imaihama beach. Outdoor pool is really nice, as well as the indoor onsen. Nice room with view of the sea.
Restaurant closes pretty early, and the closes convenience store is 15 minutes away by foot. Much better if you can bring a car and stay at the place.
4.3
Beach access, pool, buffet, hot spring, sea view balcony

The location is amazing and the balcony overlooking the beach is wonderful
I was in a superior room with two semi-double beds, however, the beds were extremely hard and even a duvet put under the sheets didn’t help.
4.3
view, friendly staff, free laundry machine, free shuttle from / to Kawazu station
Restaurants were good but quite pricy
4.3
The position just in front of the sea is ideal.Room size and room view are perfect.
Quite overvalued and a litlle outdated hotel .I was impressed much more by the cleaning staff customer attention than by the reception one. One day we were told by some beach surf savers not to enter the sea because of thunderstorm warning. At that moment the sky was cloudy only and no thunderstorm occured.I understand their worries for our safety but the weather was the same in the previous day too and as the surf savers were not present we could swim.

The courtesy shuttle was a lucky get. Had planned to go from Kawazu station back to the "nearer, smaller, local train station". Spared the inconvenience thanks to helpful station staff. A less than 5 minute ride and we pull up in front of a the hotel - reminiscent of 'seen-in-50s-Hawaiian movies' sweeping driveway. Attentive and kind reception staff - didn't pursue an English dialogue, but felt it would have been middle-basic - made for quick check-in. Twin room with a sea view - but for the pine trees on actual property, from the fourth floor - and soothing sounds of the the incoming tide waves. Spacious for this single traveller with small luggage. Sliding door opens onto balcony - closed on either side by door used only for evacuation emergency. Balcony overlooked large, clean swimming pool, well kept lawns and to my left restaurants sea facing. Lobby is wide- reception to the right upon entry - with small area to sit and read pamphlets etc and gift/souvenir shop to the left. A piano room in front of the shop. A mid-floor library was available all day. On the ground floor were two restaurants - both served dinner but only one served breakfast - and lunch. A bar between the two restaurants and a large seating area of cane furniture and Hawaiian-inspired decor, you KNOW your on holiday!
I chose the 'Japanese' option for my dinner. Although attended well by an English-speaking server who provided me with an English menu - abridged, of course - I wasn't made aware of "ordering the WHOLE dinner course" at the start. I did better the next night.

timing of cleaning up the room

The view, outstanding !
The room was spacious
The toilet wasn’t separate from the bathtub
The bed was slightly uncomfortable
The location is really inconvenient if you don’t have a car (we unfortunately didn’t)
