Really lovely home stay, staff were really helpful and kind and Dee was brilliant. She helped us organise transport around and any excursions we wanted to go on. Clean rooms with lots of space and nice common areas to chill in. Delicious butternut squash soup too!

Had a wonderful stay at Mkoani Home, Dee the owner is very knowledgable and was very welcoming, same as for the staff. Did great activities, it is central, clean, calm, has fast wifi. Beautiful green garden where you can hang out and even see the Kilimanjaro from ! Highly recommend for any travellers travelling alone, you will meet great people ! Breakfast is fresh and so yummy, loved it !

I stayed here for the duration of my internship at a school in Moshi and the whole experience would not have been half as good if I had stayed anywhere else. Darlie and her team made my stay absolutely wonderful and special. The whole team is like a little family that they made me feel part of for a little while. First of all, the rooms and bathroom were always clean, breakfast was tasty end even though I sometimes could first eat breakfast around noon, they always made it possible. Everyone was always very friendly and helpful and I generally just felt at home here. If I needed help with anything like organising a trip for the weekend, or just need help with a doctors appointment – Darlie was always ready to help, get good and fair prices and never made me feel like a burden for asking. And if it wasn't her directly, someone else from the team was always available. They even took the time to show me around town or come with me if I was looking for something specific which I didn‘t know where to get. Other than that I loved all the rooms and you can really see all the effort that is being made to ensure every guest has a wonderful stay. I really did not want to leave and if I could have, I would have stayed so much longer!

Breakfast was delightful and Dee helped book all our activities, taking all the stress out of our trip.

Dee and her team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable: Mkoani Homestay has such a wonderful vibe! Next to that, our room was very spacious, meticulously prepared, and beautifully decorated like the rest of the place. I would definitely come back if I’m the region!!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber herzlich und gut geführt. Die Chefin und ihr Team sind super kundenorientiert, hilfsbereit und helfen, wo sie können. Es gibt ein Zimmer mit eigener Dusche, aber man kann sich mit dem angenehm gemischten Publikum gut arrangieren.

Eine Waschmaschine und, v.a. in der Regenzeit, ein Trockner würden den guten Service abrunden. Meine Wäsche wurde handgewaschen, leider spielte das Wetter nicht mit zum Trocknen. Aber, das braucht ja auch nicht jeder.
