It is the most beautiful and cosiest hotel at the end of the world that you can imagine. Several wooden cabins in the Nordic style, several rooms in the main house and a big living and dining area with wood burner for everybody. Very personal, you feel like being at home, all food is sourced locally and is of exceptional quality, sustainability in every aspect is of utmost importance. Carolina is very friendly and helpful, provides valuable information about tours and organises whatever is required. Nothing is too big or too small for her. She is passionate about her hotel which opened in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. What an amazing project! Horses and chicken roam freely in the garden including the orchard. Humans and animals share the apples, gooseberries, etc. It is truly like in paradise!

Very attentive and caring staff ❤️...from maintaining communication after the booking, to helping me navigate through my planning process by answering random park and guided winter tour questions, and even providing us with well packed lunches. The sendoff was bittersweet. I wanted to cry. So delicious and fresh food! Breakfasts, lunches and dinners were all memorable. Comfortable, modern and well organized rooms. It was so quiet and cozy, we fell asleep quite fast. Views of the river and mountains from the rooms were lovely to wake up to. Internet was best in the lobby...which was for the better because we got to refocus and not look at our phones the whole time in our rooms. Food portions were too big for me, but the perfect amount for my partner. The staff adjusted the meals to smaller portions as I didn't want to waste such good food. We were able to take leftovers to the room or to go when we couldn't finish. *Less than 10 minutes away from the Rio Serrano Park Ranger Station/Park entrance. *Less than an hour to major viewpoints and short hikes. *1.5 hours NE to Guarderia Laguna Amarga where we met and caravanned with our guide to our Base Torres del Paine winter hike. *1.5 hours NW from Puerto Natales via Y-290 (Mostly flattened gravel road with potholes, be careful). Natales is the closest gas station, so plan gas usage accordingly. *Recommend driving an SUV to get here.
