Staff is professional, pleasant, and accommodating. The room was large, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast is always out early and shut down a little late. BRK has name brand food and several options and a variety of condiments like individual GIF peanut butter packets or individual Philadelphia cream cheese packet. The hotel location is right in-between downtown and the business spur. Which makes it quick and easy to get to. We were on an extended stay and the housekeepers always checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The grounds are very clean. I saw a gentleman litterally sweeping the walkwYs and the parking areas.

Honestly, I don't have one complaint. I normally could come up with at least one if not 10, at most places but, at Value Host, I literally do not have one thing I did not like.

I left a shirt in my room...i called bout it....they found shirt but arent willing to send it bak....

It was fine. It had all we needed.

Location is perfect for marquette mountain. Good bang for the buck, not luxurious but perfect for what i need.

I had car trouble and was unable to stay this time but I've stayed here before and it's a very good value priced hotel.

I like the fact Jan/2023 it was uncrowded and there were rooms available,I have stayed here before and it was good value, this time there was a reno, new carpet and i could see my vehicle out the front. the bed was comfortable. It was an older hotel which was evident, the breakfast okay as most of them are lacking. There was a fabulous grocery store nearby that you could walk to and pick up supplies like food and beer. Because of a snowstorm i had the fortune of staying on another night at the same good rate. I payed cash for the second night, the reason is in the section What i didn't like.

What i didnt like was the fact that Booking.Com took the liberty of paying for the room on my behalf which was not my intention, they intern charged my credit card the US rate, which with a Canadian Credit Card and the US exchange rate was much higher, they did it twice with out my consent and there is not a button on the website where one has that choice. My intention was to pay US cash on arrival. My Canadian card just to reserve the property. I find this a bit of a scam as they would make more money on the exchange rate from my card rather than the low rate the property was asking. Very uncool. So that $58US rate turned into a $90CDN rate for the night.
