Easy to locate, and on-street parking easy to arrange (though one pays). Great location - ready access to key areas of the city and to the Hoe. Room was comfortable, bed was extremely comfortable, tea and nibbles appreciated. Hosts were very friendly and helpful (esp advance emails), though I didn't have much free time to chat with them.

Beautifully renovated property just a few minutes walk from The Hoe. Ian & Suzy we’re very friendly and helpful. My room was well equipped and very comfortable. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast on both days. I didn’t get time to take advantage of the crafts and games available, but hope to do so next time

Owners were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. Quirky decorations and very cosy. Good mattresses which is always a big like for me.
We were in a twin room at the top of the building and the stairs were a bit of a challenge (no lift), as both my friend and I suffer breathing problems. However we managed and were very happy with our room.

The Craft House is a charming home that husband and wife team, Susie and Ian (please excuse spelling!) have created with design features to compliment the home itself. Lovely wall colors welcome the bricolage that decorates the walls and floors of the house. It is very cozy, and this lovely couple graciously address one's needs. The room itself was cozy, in a sweet corner of the hall, lending windows that look out in two directions for a nice view and fresh air. Access to the wonderful path leadng to the city center is a moment's walk away. And access to the ferries is also easy. I recommend this lovely guest hotel and commend the owners for their efforts to create a gracious stay for their clients.
This is a personal preference. I was satisfied for what was provided, given the cost of the room.

Very friendly staff, very helpful and thoughtful. Love the rustic vibes of the place. The rooms looked and smelt clean, well presented, and nice refreshments section in the rooms. Meeting the owners dog always a plus!

The service in this hotel is first class. The welcome we received was exceptional. We arrived a couple of hours early just to park and on entering the hotel were greeted warmly, and were given a map, recommendations and generally had a lovely discussion about Plymouth and what we wanted to do over the weekend. This fantastic friendly, welcoming and attentive service continued throughout our stay.
The hotel itself has also been restored and decorated sympathetically, beautifully and ethically. It’s stunning. Including the lovely comfortable, welcoming bar. Great service and great choice.
For the price in the area, it would have been nice to have a breakfast included - even if a continental one.
The room was small (at the top of the hotel) but there are options to pay more for a bigger room. Single beds very hard - did wake up and need to turn my hips over! Fine for three nights but any more would have needed a mattress topper - and I’m sure this would have been possible had we asked.

Lovely welcoming feel and beautifully decorated, I only stayed one night but can imagine staying longer would be lovely.
Everything has been thought of- from restaurant recommendations to games in the bar

the Craft House was smartly presented with some lovely design details. The room was spotless and really comfortable
we used the bar for a short time in the evening and found the owners extremely friendly

Location was perfect.
The hotel decor was beautiful. The bathroom was elegantly designed.
The staff were really lovely. I would 100% book there again, because they made us feel so welcome and looked after our every need.
The only complaint was that the room was tiny. We barely had any space to move at all and immediately felt claustrophobic. The bed was a small double, so it was a tight fit, and for my partner and I who are both over 6 feet tall, we found that our legs were hanging off the end of the bed.

Great location, close to Plymouth Pavilions, Theatre Royal and The Barbican. Lovely looking hotel and individually designed rooms, great attention to detail. Really comfortable bed and very quiet area, no traffic noise from the road outside even though we were at front of property. All the public spaces had really interesting items on the walls and floors, so much nicer than a sterile, corporate hotel. The owners Suzi and Ian were very friendly and attentive, fabulous hosting skills. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, great quality ingredients in a quirkily designed dining room with really interesting murals on the walls.
