huge room , good breakfast, friendly staff, near a bus station

300 m by foot to the omnibus station. Really useful when you need to reach NP Los Glaciares or any other place by public transport. It's the first place they drop you off with the shared transfer from the airport and the last one when they pick you up to go back. Martin treated us very well, giving very useful piece of advice and letting us check in earlier.

Breakfast could be better with some ham and cheese. Rooms are slightly older than expected. When we tried to pay by credit card Sebastian wanted to give us a worst change in Argentinian pesos than the official one resulting in 17€ more for 2 nights. We complained and he changed the exchange rate euros to pesos for a much better one.

Amazing place with the best staff. We felt really welcome there. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and making jokes. The room was also very nice, clean and with fast Wi-fi. The hosteria is a bit far from the main street with all the restaurant which was not a problem for us but super close to the bus station. I definately reccomend this place! :)

front desk was great. very helpful and friendly. simple but good breakfast. rooms were comfortable and clean. they kept our luggage for 4 days while we were on trek good location - easy walk to bus station and town center.

The breakfast was simple but good. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The rooms were clean.

The drain in the shower was a little slow and the shower would fill up if showering more than a minute.

It was convenient to the bus station which was why we chose it. Good breakfast and even when we had a pickup at 6:30am breakfast was all set up. Helped us book bus trips etc. Local shop nearby for groceries.

A bit of a walk to town

Friendly and helpful from desk. Being able to communicate in English most of the time. Arranged for taxi to airport.

Very tight quarters and grim room. Nowhere to sit other than bed. Dirty carpet. Breakfast was mostly dry confectionery and carbs. Hotel on gravel dusty road inappropriate to drag your suitcase from the bus stop. Had to trudge thru stony gravel paths to find places to eat. Conversation rate when charging with ARS using credit card was a shocker. Initial bill was $50 more than booking.com rate. Owner gave some money back next day while leaving, however the whole process was unnecessarily unpleasant. Stay here only if you want to pay in cash.

This is a great place for the night if you are catching morning bus the next day! It’s about 5mins walk. Staff are helpful enough and warm, the place is ok for the money and relatively clean.

If you plan to do stuff in Calafate town, this is a bit out of town, but still a nice walk downhill into town.

The room was spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom. If one asks they provide gluten free options.

The first morning it was difficult to find a clean space to sit for breakfast. They were short of staff and the tables were dirty with dishes from previous guests. The second morning, i didnt get a gluten free option like the previous day and the guy claimed he had not been notified in advance and he couldn't thaw anything for breakfast

Good location

we got offer for taxi (from airport to hostel) and driver did not arrive. Finally the our taxi was cheaper than offered by hostel even they wrote the price should be same as regular taxi.

The location is a good 20 minute walk from the center and taxis aren’t easily available. Also, breakfast options were extremely limited (all sweet and nothing at all savory).
