What you see is what you get. Upon entering the room, there is a pleasant aroma that helps you relax. It also offers a sense of privacy and convenience during the check-in process. Most importantly, the room is exceptionally clean. The coffee amenities are great. While there is no shampoo, shower gel is provided. The bathtub is comfortably warm, and a hot shower is available. I would definitely come back again.

The staff were verry friendly. The communications was very on point, fast and responsive. The overall experience was very good. Unique and interesting design, and very contemporary. The designs of beds, ledges and etc were kid friendly, blunt edges and etc. Below we can find a lot of shops and nearby cafes so chilling is an option.

Cara Hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel right around Kota Kinabalu Airport. If you are arriving late in KK and just want to get to bed or if you leave early in the morning, I recommend this place highly. Close by you can find convenience stores, cafés, bars and restaurants. The staff has been absolutely amazing, friendly and competent.

The hotel is on the pricier side for KK proportions. Though the rooms are fairly shielded from loud noises, some plane and nightclub sounds are still noticeable.
