Great property-very well equipped. You will want for nothing. Perfect for either two couples or small family.

Perfect for morning (or evening walks). My wife and I loved walking down to the beach, Beachcomber or nearby properties to eat. Also near enough to stores and other bars, and activities to make it a short drive. We made good use of most of the property and it was pleasant just to eat, and hang at pool. We suggest heated option from Oct to April. It's about 85 degrees, just cool enough for my wife, just warm enough for me. Wifi, TV's , appliances all worked well. Communication with property managers was clear and concise.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable team at Jan's and Tom's house for 1 1/2 weeks. A wonderful peaceful place after coming back from variety of activities the area has to offer, ranging from various nearby beaches, over the everglade tours or a football match at the Dolphin's stadium. Pompano beach or Lauderdale-by-the-sea have great options for a steak, Taco's or good fish menues. The house has everthing you need to feel comfortable and the pool is great for a morning swim or refreshing dive in the afternoon. Communication with Jan and Tom was great and umcomplicated. We did not really have too much to discuss, which speaks for itselfs. As everything was working properly in the house and we did not experience any issues at all. Would always come back if we plan another vacation at Florida east coast!

Property is located in the quiet, walkable Terra Mar area. We loved the welcome goody basket and personal message greeting us at arrival. The pool was excellent for a cool off and just to chat and relax with a drink. In the mornings, 2 of us headed out for beach walks (windy!) and coffee. After dinner, we would all stroll the neighborhood; residents are friendly. Grocery and restaurants weren’t close enough for a quick walk but were easily assessable via a super quick drive or delivery. (Loved a French bistro we found a bit inland; mmm, fresh croissants). This was just the relaxing trip I needed with my friends. Thanks Jan and Tom!

We greatly enjoyed the house. The pool is great, good size and deep. Very quiet residential area. Walking distance to a very nice beach with very few ppl. House had all basic supplies including welcome basket with snacks and water! Very nice beach chairs and a cart to carry them to the beach. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful little neighborhood and the home was very nice. Most importantly, it was immaculate. The hosts were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond when we contacted them. We mostly moved from the pool to the beach, and back again for an evening swim. The beach wagon was great and everything needed was supplied. I hope to return.

Booked this house for 6 weeks in February and March. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean, and full of amenities; especially the heated swimming pool, games and ping pong table in the garage, to make our stay a total joy. The welcome basket was also a nice start to our stay. There are plenty of beach towels and we were given brand new beach chairs. There is a cart to carry your stuff a short walk to an almost private beach area with no facilities, or a short drive to either Pompano or Lauderdale by the Sea beaches. The kitchen has everything needed to cook a fine meal, lessening the need to eat out, and the bbq grill an added attraction. Some of the furniture could use updating for comfort, specifically the leather sectional sofa in the living room. There is also a sleep sofa in the living room that is quite comfortable to sit on. We spent a good deal of our time outside by the pool area which is clean and the outdoor furniture comfortable. The location of the house was spectacular. Terra Mar Island is a safe and quiet community with little traffic, making it a great place to walk before breakfast or after dinner. It is close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. What made our stay even more pleasant were Jan an Tom Brain, the managers of the house. Any problems, a simple call to Tom or Jan, and Tom would be at the house almost immediately to ensure the problem was resolved. This was most important when we encountered some plumbing issues that were quickly taken care of with upgraded fixtures. They were always pleasant and felt like old trusted friends.

Renting this property was very easy, Tom & Jan kept in contact thru the process and were very nice to work with.

Property was exactly as described. Communication was outstanding. We had everything we needed and more. Kids described it as our best family vacation!

We had a great time at the house . I have 3 older teenagers and they enjoyed the property especially the pool. Night swimming was a hit. Over all the house was very clean. The neighborhood is beautiful and peacfully quiet. It was close to the beach ! We also had quick access to supermarket and restaurants . A super plus to the many dishes and cups for our use and of my many years of rentals your pots and pans were very clean. Over all we had an awesome time.

My fiancé and I brought our dog for a long holiday weekend stay. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the location is close to everything. We would stay here again if back in the area.

Great experience

Really liked our time at Terra Mar Island Estates. Jan and Tom were very responsive to any question or concern. Loved the privacy of the pool and the house's proximity to the beach. Plus, the community itself is gated and has cameras upon entering, making us feel very safe. Beds were comfy. House was very nice overall. The welcome basket is a really nice personal touch. Having a ping pong table and other games made for some fun times. Beach chairs were ready for guests to use, as were towels too. Each bathroom had its own hair dryer and toiletries. TVs in the bedrooms and living room were newer and worked great.

If you are looking for a nice place located right by the beach this place is perfect would definitely recommend staying here. We will book again

The property was very clean and comfortable for all of us. The back yard was perfect for the Dog. And the pool was very clean and the heater option this time of the year was great. Thanks we had a great time
