Convenient to DC area, stocked with everything you need. Hosts are great, thank you!

We couldn't have had a better stay. The apartment has terrific style, so much so that we tried to pick up some tips for our house. And the hosts seem to have thought of everything: good wifi, a fully-equipped kitchen with a Nespresso pot and coffee pods, a laundry center with detergent, etc., a guidebook, and handy little notes. And it was clean and smelled nice. We were able to spread out and enjoy ourselves, and it provided a comfortable place for our daughter (who lives in DC) to come and visit. A parking pass was included, which was convenient and saved us a significant amount vs. paying for parking. Check-in was easy as could be, with our own personal code to unlock the door. The apartment is truly a few steps away from M Street shopping in one direction, the lovely Georgetown residential neighborhood in the other direction, Rock Creek Park two blocks to the East, and the Potomac waterfront a few blocks to the South, and the National Mall close by -- close enough, in fact, that I hit all of those places and more in one morning walk. Yet the apartment felt peaceful and quiet. My only qualm about writing such a positive review is that more people will want to stay there, and we hope it will be available next time we visit!

This apartment is clean and stylish! We were not expecting it to be so quiet and serene. It has an airy feel due to large windows that provide great natural light for a basement apartment. The place is outfitted with high-end linens and amenities. The kitchen has everything you need to feel at home. Anne and Todd are fantastic hosts! They personalized our experience with special touches that made us feel welcome and comfortable. The location is great – right in the heart of beautiful Georgetown. We took advantage of everything within walking distance – historic sites, parks, shops, cafes, and restaurants.

A frequent traveler and user of VRBO, I am compelled to say that this is the nicest (not the fanciest) apt I have ever stayed in. It is perfect for an individual or couple. The hosts have thought literally of everything. The location cannot be beat. It is a once unpretentious and luxurious. I hope to be back.

Great location as others have remarked, very easy walk to downtown and monuments. Cute and comfortable! I enjoyed the modern appliances (notably washer/dryer, oven, not just toaster/microwave) and comfy bed along with Anne and Todd's hospitality.

This is a PRIME location in Georgetown-settled perfectly among shops and restaurants. Hosts are helpful and quick to respond. The listing and hosts met all of our needs for a long weekend. The parking pass is a lifesaver. 10/10 would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We used the kitchen much more than expected since we brought in food for dinner after long but wonderful days touring the National Museum of American History and the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Kitchen had every utensil needed. Lovely comfy apartment. Thank you Anne and Todd.

We loved the location and set-up of the unit. So close to everything and easy walk to the metro! The owners were so nice and easy to get a hold of. The apt had everything we needed for a short stay.

This Georgetown apartment was FANTASTIC!! It is in a wonderful location and it's easy to walk to everything. The neighborhood is full of wonderful shops, restaurants and close to SO many neat things to do. The apartment was so cute and cozy. Very clean, so well decorated, great kitchen and very cool in the humid summer. Excellent and much appreciated folder of recommendations in the local area. We loved the space and would HIGHLY recommend it! Thanks Anne and Todd.

My husband and I stayed at the property June 9-15 for our first visit to DC. The property was exactly as described. Anne was a wonderful host and communication was a pleasure. The added touches she provides made the stay even better. We were lucky enough to be able to check in a little early which coincided wonderful with our flight time. She even provided a notebook of local information. We had the pleasure of meeting the hosts one night as we came in. We enjoyed being able to walk and explore M street each night after taking in the sights in downtown during the day. I would recommend this location hands down. A true gem in the heart of Georgetown.

Great location. Property managers were very cooperative and communicative. The decor is remarkable and shows the result of thoughtful design. The apartment has everything you need. I mean everything. For example the kitchen is outfitted much better than my home kitchen. Very comfortable furniture. Lots of light in this basement apartment. I would gladly return!

This place is Wonderful! We loved everything about this cute little bungalow. It was in a good location. Very clean. It was stylishly beautiful with all the comforts of home. Coming from the west coast we did not lose any sleep as the bed was so comfortable. It had everything that we needed. Espresso maker and a good selection of tea's for morning. Everything was just really cozy! we really enjoyed our stay here. We will definately come back here whenever we make another trip out. Thank you Anne and Todd for accomodating us for all of our needs which added to our memories of a great trip!!!

The apt, was perfect for our 40th Anniversary getaway! So close to M Street and easy on street parking. We had everything we needed for our stay. Anne was so easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the extra touches.

This unit was definitely worth every bit of a five star rating in all categories. It was convenient to all Georgetown attractions and bus stops for travel into DC. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The hosts had put thought into the details that made it comfortable for us on our vacation. They were prompt and helpful in their communications. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to stay in the Georgetown/DC area. We would certainly stay here again.

If I could give this property more than 5 stars I absolutely would. And I would rate the hosts even higher. The apartment is located just steps from M Street and yet it is remarkably quiet. The property was clean and organized and very nicely decorated. The welcoming hand written note left by the hosts, the two umbrellas hung by the door (although luckily we did not need them), and even the two bottles of water left on the table showed us that these hosts truly wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. They thought out every detail even giving instructions on the use of the TV, Air Conditioning/Heating, and a nicely put together booklet of near by restaurant recommendations. Although I’m new to using VRBO to rent out properties, I’ve stayed in various places across the country using different services and I can say with confidence this has been the most pleasant experience from check in to check out that I’ve ever had. If you are considering a stay in Georgetown then I cannot recommend this property enough! Without a doubt I will be staying here many times in the future.

My teenage son & I stayed here while we explored DC. This was the perfect location! The apartment is beautiful, clean, well equipped and in a great location. My son even declared that the blankets in the family room are the most comfortable blankets he's ever felt. We parked on the street when we arrived and never used our car again until we headed home. Anne and Todd were the perfect hosts! I highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it.
